Venetian elegance with a human touch!

A beautiful and refined country hotel within easy reach of Venice. The staff were the high point: humane, discreet yet accommodating. The rooms are classic but spacious and very clean. Jacuzzi tub a nice bonus for bubble baths. Our room had an additional bed behind a door you could close - perfect for families. Excellent spritz at the hotel bar. Amazing breakfast, particularly for an Italian hotel. No request was too much trouble, including the unusual culinary demands of an impatient 3 year old :) Would love to return in the summer to check out the pool!

Did not have enough time to explore the grounds.

Preis / Leistung ist OK. Bei 5 Sternen erwarte ich mir allerdings etwas mehr.

Frühstück war reichlich und gut. Ruhige Lage mit schönem Garten. Das Zimmer war groß uns sauber.

Das Haus bräuchte außen und innen mal eine Rundumerneuerung. Es gibt viele Risse in den Wänden und Löcher im Boden. Ist halt nicht gerade günstig eine Villa/ein Schloss in Schuss zu halten.

Nice pool area. Beautiful surrondings. The restaurant was good - especially the tiramisu is a must try

Fantastic stay with special charm

Best value for money you can hope for in a European 5-star! Not the overpriced and sterile chain hotel’s environment, but an authentic family-owned antique villa with a soul, secluded and picturesque… Garden suites are worth every single penny of an extra charge! Rooms are spacious, ceilings are high and we did not have to put AC on despite scorching 2023 summer temperatures! Pet friendly ))

Nothing, really. Breakfast could be a bit more varied, but the self-squeeze carrot/ginger/cucumber juice station is a highlight anyway!

Pool area large and clean

Never ever a 5 star place in 2023. Barely 2 star. Very very tired interior. Photos must have been from 10+ years ago., especially in rooms. Sofa bed for kids in « suite » was very lumpy and uncomfortable. Very underwhelming welcome from front desk - even with my Italian we barely go a hello and looked annoyed that I was taking her away from admin. Dinner was better than other reviews, and service good. Pool staff friendly and helpful. Very reasonably priced wines.

Historical, authenting, great service. Prob 4,5 stars

Amazing staff. Really helpful. Location is ideal to visit Venice and then relax from the hords of turists (!) Nice pool area, great with kids.

Overall the place is a bit run down. It is still very Nice and authentic, but could use a general overhall to keep the 5 star rating in my view. Minor thing: Breakfast a bit scarce when it comes to options -lost of cakes but not much choice of breads or omelettes ect. Fresh juices was expected.

The historical aspect, spaciousness and breakfast.

The location is challenging to get to from the train station in Venice, and at night, if you stay out late, there is no public transportation directly to Mogoliano Veneto to catch a taxi. Also the taxi company contracted by the hotel is overcharging. They charged 100 Euro one way and on my return trip, a different company charged 65 Euro. Be careful with that.

Just perfect experience

It's a very cozy villa with historical background. Rooms are modern and comfortable, but with vintage furniture and design. Magnificent landscapes are all around it. My wife had a birthday during our stay and the staff did a great job helping me make it really gorgeous. Many thanks for that!
