Wonderful relaxing stay at exceptional place.

We had the most wonderful stay for four nights. The lodging, staff, food, and dogs were the most wonderful. We didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to return on our next holiday. The included breakfasts were wonderful with lots of options. The dinners were unbelievable and delicious. We ate dinner at the property every evening because it was so delicious. Private and safe parking. We loved our time here.

So lucky to have found this place for our one week stay in Tuscany.

The property was so beautiful and peaceful. The views are breathtaking. The photos don’t do it justice. I’ve never felt so relaxed. The food was amazing. The staff were all so pleasant and hospitable. I didn’t want to leave and will definitely come back.

Breathtaking view from the hillside Extremely nice and friendly staff who were always available and helpful Relaxing, calm environment, perfect if you want to stay away from the "regular life" Beautiful garden with lot of places to enjoy the view. Clean, tidy rooms. Good selection of wines from local vineyards. Dogs :)

Great views with friendly staff.

Location was glorious. Staff were so friendly and kind, this is a homely stay that we enjoyed alongside the staffs three dogs. The food was also excellent and the ordering was flexible.

Beautiful hotel with the most incredible views. Excellent home cooked meals for dinner from a daily changing menu.

The bathroom could have done with more hanging rails and the mottely mirror, although beautiful, was not best for applying makeup. A shelf or rack is needed for soap and shampoos inside the shower cubicle. Breakfast was very fresh but we would have appreciated a menu to see what was on offer.

Enjoyed every moment and would love to go back and this time for a longer stay.

The location and view were superb. The staff very supportive and friendly. They genuinely took an interest in us as their guests. The food was also very good, very traditional Italian dishes and we looked forward to every meal.

One of the best.

A magical villa located in the beautiful mountains. The place is so unique! we also had dinner there that was incredible, and having breakfast on the terrace while enjoying the views was perfect.

The only thing that I was a little concerned about was that the key to the rooms are the generic kind, so the rooms are not very secured.

A short distance from town, but worth it.

Views were spectacular, Staff were friendly. Food was delicious, they do provide dinner, just have to notify them before 4pm. Small menu but delicious. The atmosphere was like home from home.

A stunning place in a stunning location. With beautiful staff.

This hotel is quite simply STUNNING! And the staff are an absolute delight. My bedroom was beautiful and my bathroom was the size of a small apartment! I went into a happy bubble for 24 hours and came out rejuvenated! Thank you, Solange and to everyone.

There was NOTHING I didn’t like. But if I had to be super critical…This hotel is so lovely it makes you not want to leave, so it would be even more heavenly if the food was just a little more sophisticated. And maybe some updated pool-side furniture and parasols would be nice.

This was the climax of two weeks in Italy and served as an exclamation point of rest and reflection.

The location and view was spectacular, close distance to Lucca, yet quiet and secluded. The villa has been newly renovated with beautiful and spacious interior. The pool was wonderful and situated on the terrace below. The staff, though lean during Covid, was delightful. The young waiters who were being trained treated us like family.

Nothing, although the long winding road getting up to villa is not for the faint at heart. I would go back in a minute.

This place is beautiful, and the views are breathtaking! Everyone was so helpful and accommodating, and they even made us reservations for wine tasting. The meals were fantastic as well! We ate there every night. Relais Farinati was the highlight of our trip!

Lovely stay in a beautiful old home. Nothing went wrong. Mostly all right.

Food, finish, and people all amazing. Loved the pool in the afternoon, for a quick dip to cool down. Liked the sun loungers with the hood to keep the sun out. Enjoyed the dogs. The view is amazing.

Offer an option for guests to use a washing machine on premises. Bathroom consumables a bit sparse though there was a single soap. Faint methane smell in bathroom, to be expected in some older houses, but scent sticks didn't conceal it properly.

our car rental fell through as our fight was delayed so we got taxi .. you have to drive car to this property as the taxi far to lucca is 45 euros return as the meter starts in lucca and there’s 20 euros in when they arrive although no kids allowed the owners kids in pool very disquieting two simple bowls of pasta for lunch and one simple dinner was 125 euros won’t be back !
