I truly love the place was so clean and easy to get there by any means of transport

Affordable, good location, friendly staff, tasty wide-ranging breakfast, secure, REAL COFFEE!!!, clean pleasant rooms - there was so much to like, and we certainly intend to stay here again. This is a great place for families - the rooms are large and clean. Lots of magazines and books in the lobby, nice outdoor or indoor seating for the restaurant (and for breakfast) which is really nice. There's even WiFi - not quite as fast as 4G, but a definite bonus. We intend to come again.
OK, so it advertised Air Conditioning and a Pool - it is even printed on the front gate. The swimming pool is actually in the sister hotel two doors down. Not a big problem, but not exactly what we were expecting. But we didn't see any sign of air conditioning anywhere, and certainly not in our room, which was hot. We brings fans everywhere we go, so we were OK, but there's a small false advertising problem here. However, that is all balanced by it being an excellent place - and I'd like that positive note to be what I end on.

We spent two nights at Korona – the night before and after our safari and our stay could not be better.
The staff is very friendly and helped us with everything including airport transfers, arranging safari and visit to Masai village
The meals are delicious...
Relaxing at the pool was nice too

It was a..... A false advertising and they know it. They basically described a room from their bigger hotel /premise but pretended it is what the smaller premise offered. The description and photos were wrong. A scam basically

Quiet place with a nice garden, a spacious room with African decor, good service, friendly staff, delicious meals, a nice swimming pool, reasonable price and finally feeling like home. What else could you ask for?
Thank you Korona team. We will be back soon!
Improve Wi-Fi Speed, sometimes it was too slow, especially when the weather changes to rain, otherwise everything was okay. Thank you.

Serene, quiet, lovely food. Love the pool, the rooms are beautiful, definitely have character. Amazing decor. The staff are kind and helpful and always good the extra mile. The manager is amazing:). Great attitude, great location, very friendly price.
The food is delicious-a tad bit costly, but very tasty. The prices could be tailor-made as opposed to having a blanket cost for every meal.

Besides the extensive breakfast:
fruit / juice, coffee / tea, pancakes, you could possibly toast your bread, they asked every morning if we wanted a boiled, baked, crumbled or omelette, different types of jam, even peanut butter was present (for the children),
we enjoyed the beautifully furnished and African decorated dining room every day.
The welcome and service from the staff were very nice and cordial. We felt at home and at ease.
The bedroom was spacious and quiet. Also very African furnished with excellent beds. The hot water supply of shower and sink worked excellently and provided with clean towels every day. Excellent hygiene.
There is a good cook who prepares very tasty meals. You can leave special wishes to him.
All in all, try to surpass that!!
We can't think of it, we don't know!!

The staff was absolutely amazing and so nice and patient with kids! Full recommendation if you are travelling with your family. We loved the room next to the balcony.

Staff was great, especially the owner. Breakfast, lunch and dinner was also of very good quality. I also felt very safe during all my stay
The wifi was important for me but it was extremely unstable for me and other guests. I would never have booked the room in the first place, if I know this since I planned for daily online meetings. There was a lot of noice from playing children and no AC

Korona house (and the adjacent property Korona Villa) are two large villas with about half a dozen guest rooms each, located in the outskirts of Arusha. The room interior is simply, but tastefully furnished in African style, breakfast is in an adjacent building or under a canopy roof in the courtyard. Everything is perfectly clean and in good working order (showers, hot water, etc..). The staff is exceptionally helpful and kind, we spend almost a week at the place and after a day or two we felt more like family than paying guests. Korona house has more the charm and feel of a homestay than a hotel. The only (slight) downside is the distance from the city centre, which requires transport of some kind. We used the public transport (dala dala), which passes right in front of the house. Once you get the hang of these minibuses (and are not afraid of sharing it with up to 15 or 20 other riders), the distance is not a problem (there is a bus every few minutes, they will stop right in front of you if you wave your hand). The Hotel serves food in the evening a la carte which is good, but we found it not quite as exceptional as some of the other reviewers have written; maybe the kitchen was a bit limited because we were the only guests most of the time (certainly Covid related). Overall I would highly recommend Korona House, in particular if one is looking more for a charming and homely stay rather than a more standard hotel experience with lots of features but little soul.

We had a great time at this hotel. The service is the best part - every employee in this hotel is nice, helpful, kind, and always answering positively to any question you could have. Food is good and affordable and the hotel is quiet.
The accommodation is typical, very beautiful. Do not be afraid about the location ; at first we were afraid that we would be too far from the city center, it appears that a lot of « dala dala » pass directly at the door and let you right at the masaï market for only TSH400 per person. And you are far from the busy city center which is better to sleep well !!
In addition, we left the hotel at 5am to get to our safari, the service is so good the employees woke up and gave us a breakfast box to eat on the road.
Two French people very happy with the service
