Beautiful hotel for quiet, thoughtful family or couples stay.

Very beautiful mansion , perfectly restored and very authentic atmosphere.

It’s a lovely venue, the staff very nice and helpful, the grounds and setting by we super.

Amazing property - the suite we had was nice, although the sofa bed area was very small and not particularly comfy.

The breakfast wasn’t particularly good and poor value for money. Overall, for one night and dinner it was very expensive.

Lovely place but not sure if its value for money

quiet area. 10 mins from Lyon by train. Good bed and shower! Wonderful dinner!

breakfast could use a bit more attention from the staff. cold eggs and undercooked bacon, cold pancakes. Dry bread and always short on fruit salad. Rooms seem to have thin walls and no international tv channels

Fine for a stop-over but not our cup of tea to eat such heavy, rich food.

Very comfortable room, if a little small. Nice big bathroom though.

The food is very rich. Very few places for the dogs to go to the loo as they are not allowed on any of the grass in the grounds.

Nice time at a historic villa

Feel like a guest of a historical villa. Amazing interior, felling like you touch the history. Nice breakfast area with a garden view. Cosy green yard. Calm and cosy. Parking at the territory, no need to bother about where to leave the car.

The building is a historic one and has no elevators. We arrived late and had to take our suitcases up by stairs which was not quite comfortable.

Nice and helpful team, good breakfast in a pleasant setting, comfortable room.

The hotel restaurant that was highly recommended unfortunately was closed and the place recommended by the hotel did not meet our expectations. Cleanliness can be improved.

Exceptional

Very stylish house turned into hotel. The rooms are wide and clean with excellent amenities. The staff are energetic and welcoming. The food is exceptional.

The fact that it doesn't have an elevator. But the structure of the building doesn't allow it and the staff were happy to assist with the luggage.

liked everything about this hotel. It’s an absolute gem of a place that I would highly recommend to anyone who happens to be in the area. it isn’t cheap but it’s definitely worth what we paid. The restaurant was also top class. Some of the tastiest food I’ve ever had and I’ve eaten in some very nice places. I can’t rate this hotel highly enough. 6 stars

Very disappointed. Cannot recommend that hotel

Beautiful building, nice location.

WIFI did not work in my room. I had to ask multiple times for help, which was eventually provided on the second day of my stay. The breakfast is overpriced, and quite poor in food selection. Some eggs, but no bacon or sausages. I had to press a dress shirt, and the bad condition of the iron resulted in staining the shirt, which is totally ruined. I reported the problem to the staff. No apologies given, and no discount on the bill.

Old-style charm & fabulous food - a good place for a work trip.

This is a beautiful old building & the location is fantastic for my needs - so close to Ecully. The bathroom was impressive (as long as you don't mind see-through walls!) The staff were very professional. By far my favorite part was the breakfast, which was delicious.

My room was by a fire door & people coming past on their way back or from their rooms was quite noisy (although I'm not sure if that could be resolved). If you struggle with stairs, this is not the place for you (not a criticism, just an observation).

Location and staff

Very poor choice on menu and complained. The staff were very nice and did find us a better choice of food but it was very poor quality and we will never stay at that hotel again.

Exterior and room design - that what you like when you look at the photos. But what the photos don’t transmit is the smell.

Junior Suite had a distinct chemical smell and the staff didn’t help resolving the situation nor offered a solution/compensation - and I was traveling with small kids. The menu in the restaurant is very small and albeit pretty expensive, the food tastes poorly, the cooks wouldn’t agree to prepare for the dinner courses from the day menu. The breakfast choice is very limited. No lift and no gym.
