Island of “higher standard” in the middle of nowhere.

Maria was an amazing host, really helpful and we had a lovely stay.

Fantastic! Great location, off the beaten track and beautiful! The kids loved jumping off the bridge into the water and a 2 mins walk also has a lovely area for swimming with the locals. It has a small bar / restaurant too with good food. We had the most amazing boat tour that Maria and her husband organised - it was fantastic! The road to the apartment is narrow and there are no shops so need to bring supplies with you for the stay. We also force to Karuc for an evening meal…wonderful!

Very good

Dodosi is good for untouched nature lovers. You can expect many different birds, insects, turtles, grass snakes, cows, etc. The apartments are next to the river. A small rural beach is nearby, near the restaurant. The apartment is spacious and has all amenities. It is on the first floor, with air conditioning, so summer heat is not an issue. Beautiful terrace with vine and a hammock.

I would suggest having a visible sign with the apartment name on the house or uploading a photo of the building to Booking. We were a bit confused if we arrived at the right house, as the address is without house number. The house is next to the bridge. I would also suggest sending the main instructions (about payment, check-in, and check-out process, etc.) by email or Booking message a day before or the same day. The host who let us in did not speak English so it was a bit disturbing for her and us to communicate.

Amazing exceeded my expectations

The view was astonishing and the cleanliness of the bathroom was higher than my expectations.We had an amazing boat ride and the stay was 👍 great.

Everything was great but wish there were more restaurants in the area.

Something I would recommend you to visit if you have decided to go to Montenegro. Clean and nicely decorated accommodation all for 10! I have no words for the natural beauty I saw!

a beautiful tranquil jewel at the heart of nature

Beautiful and tranquil location, an amazingly scenic spot, away from the tourist hubbub. The apartment was extremely well outfitted and stocked with necessities for cooking, everything was spotlessly clean, the place exuding comfort and welcome. You could easily spend a good week here just enjoying the beautiful scenery right at the doorstep. Our host Maria was very welcoming and provided us with plenty of useful information even before arrival. We were even able to enjoy an evening boat ride on lake Skadar, something I would wholeheartedly recommend to every future guest as the scenery is nothing short of spectacular and again, enjoyed away from any overcrowded touristic venues.

Superb

just a good and clean cute house. Maria and her husband answered all our questions and needs. it was very nice that they offer us a boat trip - we did it and it was amazing, the guide (maria’s husband) was in our vibes (:

the shower was very small (i 1.91 tall) not fitted to my hight. must say that we had with the guide a bit of language barrier (do know English well) but he very tried to overcome it.

Thank you very much to our hosts for sharing such a beautiful place. The apartment is super nice and the village of Dodosi is bucolic. In addition, our hosts were great and super helpful, thanks again to them for their generosity and all those very good advice. We highly recommend.

Very nice house, best boat trip, amazing owners

The house is charming, stunning views, very comfortable beds, well equipped. Owners are very helpful and generous. We took a boat trip from them- it was amazing, one of the highlights of our trip.

The only road leading to the village is winding, narrow and dark. Dangerous to travel on it at night

The name Lakeview Apartments is a bit misleading as there is no lake to be seen, only a river.

We could find in the apartment everything what light travelers like us would need. Hosts were easy to communicate with and very helpful.

Skrapyard view apartment

The view from the porch was beautiful, village was quiet and there was a lot if birds to watch.

1. It was hard to find the right house in the evening, when we arrived - it is not on the map. 2. There was nobody to meet us, and the house was damp and cold. 3. Strong awful smell in the toilet did not vanish even after i turned on ventilation 4. After arriving we were very tired and went straight to bed, the one in the bigger bedroom was broken. 5. There was a lamp on the left of that bed, but there was no power socket for it. 6. The armchair in smaller bedroom was broken too 7. There was no working power socket in the kitchen - we had to take kettle to the sitting area and use the socket there to boil water for a tea 8. There was a problem with toilet bowl. Flushing mechanism was broken, but we managed to use it after removing the lid. 9. And the Lake View. Is from the porch. No window faces the river. Bedroom findows face the parking lot and skrapyard! 10. After cold wet night our mom got sick - she has chronic bronchitis and must not be cold. 11. Above all this problems with the apartment, most frustrating were interrogations with the landlady. We didn't want to stay there and she insisted we paid for 4 nights, which we did after all. After that i wrote to the booking.com support. Maria said it was not her problem our mom got sick and because we've booked early we had to pay. But she, gracefully will return us the payment for one night of two we were not going to spend there. I agreed. Did not want to ruin the vacation more than it was at that point. So i decided to write all about this Lake view.

Beautiful place and wonderful hosts!

The location of this property is perfect for swimming and for relaxing. The hosts were wonderful and left us some wine, water and bread for our arrival. We enjoyed a great boat ride with Mitar who supplied drinks and we stopped at a couple of other fishing villages, plus a nice meal and a swim in the main lake. The terrace area is great for relaxing and reading a book whilst looking at the views, fussing the village dog and watching the cows wander by!

The bed in the second room wasn’t comfortable as you could feel the springs in the mattress, but that’s the only tiny negative. I would still go back and recommend this place to everyone!
