Great value for money with friendly and helpful staff.

The pool area is great and with the restaurant there now it was so relaxing as we could relax have a drink and food at the hotel.

The shower water was cold.

I've stayed here over 5 times and twice I was treated differently that the white tourist.

I liked how close it was to the beach side.

I did not like my treatment from the staff. We were blatantly treated different than white tourists. We were also ignored by staff at the bar who then turned around and happily helped a White customer.

A little slice of paradise, with older dated rooms

The highlight is the pool with an ocean view along with the pier going out into the ocean where you can sit and cool off in the water. The AC in our room was exceptional!

The room was pretty grungy. The one mattress was sunken in the corner, the sink plugged up, no fridge and the cleaners weren’t around for the first few days of our visit. Usually we wouldn’t care but because there’s so much sand on the island, we would have liked our floor swept every day. Most issues we had the staff was decent at getting resolved quickly.

Sorry to say , it has gone downhill since last time we stayed here. Won’t stay here again.

Water trickling from showers. Little care for customer service at the bar or restaurant . Staff sitting up drinking and being extremely loud until midnight right outside our rooms so we couldn’t sleep.

Die Unterkunft wirkte auf den ersten Blick ansprechend und freundlich. Wir hatten leider ein sehr schreckliches Erlebnis, unsere Taschen wurden am letzten Tag aus dem Stauraum nicht herausgegeben, obwohl wir mehrfach darum gebeten hatten. Wir wurden genötigt, zusätzliches, nicht vorab vereinbartes Geld zu bezahlen, wenn wir unsere Taschen wieder haben möchten. Unsere Buchung war über Booking COM erfolgt und komplett bezahlt. Wir hatten zunächst einen schönen Aufenthalt, würden aber aufgrund dieser wirklich bedrohlichen Erfahrung nicht mehr wiederkommen und raten ab von einem Aufenthalt in die Unterkunft.

Relaxing and easily accessible

The location was amazing, the pool right next to the water was really nice and relaxing, definitely would go again.

We stayed in the hostel during our stay except for one night when we booked a private room. The hostel was very basic but the private room was brilliant.

Gut, aber nicht herausragend

Das Hotel hatte einen eigenen Pool und sah gut aus.

Die Reinigung der Zimmer fand nicht regelmäßig statt und das Frühstück konnte entgegengesetzt der Auskunft der Rezeption doch nicht angeboten werden. Da waren wir etwas enttäuscht.

Really nice for the price

Location on the water, beautiful sunrises. Staff very friendly and helpful. Front porch on each unit very nice. Dock to walk out on was great, I swam from it in clear water several times. All in all it was a great place to land for our first time on the island. AC in unit was nice. Food was good, but staffing issues made it slower and limited the menu.

Our unit poolside was a little noisy occasionally, but i also liked it, the ocean view, near dock. Housekeeping was a bit rough, they never picked up the sand in our unit, just swept it into a corner or behind my luggage on the floor. I used a hand towel to sweep it out of high traffic areas. They only cleaned twice out of 4 possible times bc they arrived after 5:30 pm and we were over it at that point, so they just changed the towels. Short staffed probably. No soap was provided. Water pressure in toilet very very low.

Clean and basic hotel

Very basic hotel. Room was clean and bathroom had a great shower. Aircon was great! Fridge was a plus too.

Exceptional

We really loved our stay at tropical paradise. The location was excellent, close to everything but also tucked away from the noise. The rooms were spacious and clean! There’s also a big pool area with a bar which is great for chilling when it becomes too hot! The staff were friendly too!

Very good

The cocktails from the bar in the pool were very nice. The staff was very attentive and helpful with all questions.

They should change the showerheads. In our room the water was going everywhere besides where it should have. The entire bathroom including toilet paper and towels have been soaked after every shower.

nice staff, good pool, good night sleep. room was “semi cleaned” for sand one of the 3 days, otherwise it was left as is

little bit out of the way, depending what you’re looking for, no mirrors outside of the bathroom in the room and the wifi was Not good. my credit card also had 2 charges on it - so make sure to check your statements.

Great hotel with lovely pool and Hot water

Lovely Hotel. our room was big with 2 double beds. The room was cleaned every day. Great quiet air con. Good sized fridge. Hot water. A balcony. The pool was Lovely and all the staff were great. The was good too.

Great place. Bring ear plugs!

Cool location with its own dock and pool!

I didn’t have one good night sleep because it was so loud. Either loud guests, early morning hammering, palms banging on the roof, or mating animals. I was woken up multiple times every night.

Beautiful location, clean and super friendly staff.

Location is beautiful oceanfront with swim up bar pool overlooking the waters we came here for.

The safe in the room did not work even after changing the batteries.

Tropical Paradise is a nice quiet hotel that was pleasant to spend several days on Caye Caulker

Each room is its own little cabana with a nice bathroom. The air conditioner and fan kept the rooms very comfortable. We could see the ocean from the covered entryway. Each room had a chair on the covered entryway which was nice to sit on and enjoy the view and breeze and read or just chill. The hotel gave us 2 rooms located right next to each as we requested. The hotel is located at the far south end of Front street which means you have to walk to everything. It was about a 20 min walk to get the the north end and The Split. This meant the area around the hotel is pretty quiet which can be blessing or a curse depending on your view. It did mean that after a long, tiring day of snorkeling that we didn't feel like walking to the main area for dinner. However, the restaurant at the hotel is really pretty good so we didn't mind eating in. The staff, especially at the bar and restaurant, were friendly and helpful. They really made the stay at the Tropical Paradise pleasant. There are also a couple good restaurants and a market within a block or so of the hotel so you have everything you really need within a couple minute walk of the hotel.

Our rooms could have been brighter and more airy. There was a good sea breeze but the rooms didn't really benefit from it and we had to run the air conditioners (which worked very well). We would just have preferred to have a natural sea breeze in the rooms. It looked like a couple of the cabanas in the front row by the ocean got really nice breezes. The location of the hotel is pretty far south from the more populated, happening north end by the Split so you have to walk to everything.

Good option for Caye Caulker

The facilities are worthy, non expensive (for the island standards), counting with a beautiful swimming pool with the sea view and a pier. The staff friendly, helpful and understanding.

The rooms need a little touch and the beds are not so comfortable but it definitely worthy for the price.

OK for the price, but some parts disappointing.

The location is good. It's nice to be right near the beach with a dock there for my boat. For those who like a swimming pool, they have installed one.

Room service is daily. However, it only includes emptying the trash, refreshing towels, and sweeping the floors. I was there nearly 2 weeks and the sheets never got changed. The bathroom was never cleaned or sterilized. They really could do a better job by training their cleaning staff to truly clean the room at least every other day. There was construction going on directly behind my room, so I had to wake up at 7:00am nearly every day of my vacation whether I wanted to or not. I don't like to be up at 7:00am on vacation.

Belize and tropical paradise is trash!

Nothing!

The room, the beds, lack of privacy, the toilet was broken, there was no blanket on the bed, no washcloths or extra towels, no bath mats! Felt like I was staying in a trap house. The photos on booking are not what we got when we checked in, they are cat fishing! The island was also one of the most ghetto places I've ever been and I've lived in the ghetto!
