Have a glass of wine in your very own "she shed". Bring your furry friends. There is even a doggie door. Come and experience the tranquility of this home. Location always excellent. Older home but kept up pretty well. AC works great! Small yard for dogs. Bed and furniture very comfortable.
The cleaning company could have done a better job as the floor was dirty and needed to be mopped when we arrived.

Having to go and pickup 3 keys in 2024 seems antiquated. Port A Escapes employees were friendly and informative. We added an extra night when they reached out about the unit being available. The unit itself needs a little TLC- most noticeable was the kitchen utensils (3 knives total!?) and the bed itself. Great location and the fenced in backyard is why we book!

Overall the place was great! It had room for our dog, a doggie door and fenced yard! Walked to the beach in about ten minutes. The house was built in the 1970’s. Will need a bit of work on the floor around the shower, and could use a bit more TLC on the yard and plants in the front yard. Planning on on going back soon!

We really liked this property. It’s spacious for a one bedroom. The screened porch is nice. The house is bright and cheery. It has its own driveway for parking. We would love to stay here again.

The house was apx 600 sq ft inc bedroom and loads of outdoor space. Cons 1.the grass needed to be mowed making it hard to do poop patrol 2. There were ants in the kitchen/living room. 3. The a/c was not functioning fully requiring the use of portable a/c units and "hot spots" in the house. Pros - 1. Pet could join us. 2. Location close to food, beach and activities. 3. Well supplied with dishes, toiletries etc. 4. Property management was responsive and very friendly.

This house was so cute! Me and my husband stayed here for a weekend with our 2 dogs and it was very peaceful. The yard is perfect for your fur babies and we loved having the enclosed porch! Close to the beach, private, and no loud noise it made for a nice stay.

We loved the location and the property overall. We have a dog, so it was a great place to have a pet, but still need to be mindful of coyotes. The screened-in porch with TV and the living room are very comfortable. A little updating for the grill and the microwave would be a great asset. It was very comfortable for a couple with a pet, and the location was close to the beach and restaurants and shops.

The house was great for a long weekend in Port A. My dogs loved the yard. The house had everything I needed. Enjoyed the screened in porch on the warmer January days. It's an easy walk to the beach.Some of the furniture is getting pretty sad. My biggest complaint would be the mattress, it has seen waaaay better days. There are very large dips on each side. You can feel the lumps and indentations in the mattress with your hands they are so bad. One of the chairs in the screened in porch is covered in mildew as well. I'm not sure if it was the cover on the sofa that made it lumpy, I peaked under the cover and it looked to be in good shape, but the cushions felt squished. It was all comfortable enough for a long weekend. Wouldn't want to sleep in that bed too many days.

We were not able to stay during our time, but the property management team is absolutely the kindest people. We had two instances that made us not be able to make it and they were so accommodating and understanding. I would give them at 10/10 for their attentiveness to us and their empathy!!! We were so bummed we could not make it because this place was perfect for us and our dogs. I highly highly recommend this place to anyone heading down to Port A. Good place to stay. Everything we needed except for laundry. They gave me a key but never found it. The outside shower was fantastic and helped emensely to keep dogs and us clean before entering house. We could get down and dirty at the beach. Bed was a little hard for our taste but everyone is different. Totally clean and functional as advertised. Dogs enjoyed sitting on porch and people and dog watch. We had some nice evenings out there.

Had 2 issues with the house upon arrival and after calling the office someone was at the house within 20mins. The house is old, the floors are slanted, the outside tv is on its last leg. Just some small things that needed attention and were taken care of as soon as they could. The house is perfect for 2 people and maybe 2 small children. Overall stay was not bad at all. Port A Escapes was great to work with and answer all calls and service requests very quickly.
