Such a great location, quiet but central and next to the running trails. We loved the small quiet balcony. Host was very attentive.
Maybe the price was a bit higher than other places in Mallorca

This is a lovely house and is nicely furnished and clean. The kitchen is fully equipped and there were basics such as rice, salt and pepper left for us. There isn't much of a view from the roof terrace but it's still pleasant to sit out there in the sun.
We were surprised to find that the house had central heating, but as we couldn't turn this up or down (or off) we found we still needed to light a fire at night (our visit was in February and it got cold at night).
The shower was nice and hot. As a bonus there was complementary organic shampoo, body wash and conditioner which was nice. The owner met us on arrival and was friendly.
We were here to climb and this house was central to the crags we wanted to visit. I also understand there are lots of walk in the area, although we couldn't see where these were and instead drove elsewhere for longer walks. The village is quaint and gets quite busy at times. There are lots of tourist shops and plenty of places to get coffee or eat lunch. We found in February that there was hardly anywhere to eat out in the evening though. The local shop is a 5 minute walk from the house. It stocks the basics but don't expect lots of variety.
We weren't aware of a 2.20€ tourist tax (per person, per night) until right before the trip; this needs to be paid in cash on arrival to the owner. The 2€ a day for the parking ticket (which we did know about) also needs to be paid in cash, so be aware of this.
The car park is about a 5 minute walk downhill from the house. This wasn't a problem for us but is something to be aware of. The house is up some steep banks so wouldn't be suitable for those who aren't too great on their feet.
We enjoyed our stay and just have a couple of minor gripes;
1. We were asked to take our rubbish to be disposed of at the end of the stay somewhere which was a 10 minute walk from the house. As the cost of cleaning was within what we paid I didn't expect we'd have to do this.
2. We were also asked to replace any firewood we used. Again, this is something I'd expect to be complementary. It does get cold at night, so some extra blankets would be nice too.
3. The lighting in the bedrooms is very dim.
4. The beds/pillows and sofa weren't very comfortable. The sofa doesn't have any arms on it, so nothing to lean on unless you're in the corner.
Not a concern for us, but the local church bells ring on the hour all through the night; if you're a very light sleeper this could disturb you.

We liked the sufficiently equipped kitchen a lot and also the little but superb roof terrace
Sometimes we could hear the guests below and smell their cigarettes, but everything else was just perfect!

Adorable town, and accommodation is very conveniently located near all amenities. Host thought of absolutely everything to make for a convenient stay. A home away from home.

It was a beautiful area. There was a grocery nearby and lots of good restaurants and cafes. It was convenient and comfortable.
It was pretty good overall but a little far from some of the tourist spots. But it was really nice.

The city of Valdemossa is beautiful and perfect for every day trip around the island. The village holds everything from little cafes and restaurants to shopping and museums. Port de Valdemossa is a very nice place to go to the beach.
The location was very nice and tidy. The host was super friendly and kind to help us with everything around the village. Everything was very clean and we had a decent time on the roof top terrace. Thank you!

We were the second time at Macarenas house and for sure it was not the last time. The House is in a beautiful and quiet area, it’s cosy and typical for Mallorca. Macarena is a nice host and really cares about her guests.

Macarena’s house is beautiful and has a perfect location in the village of Valldemossa. The owner really makes you feel at home, she is very kind and told us everything you need to know about the area. The house itself has everything you need and was very clean. I would definitely recommend this house! Cannot wait to come back!

We did like the house overall. There´s so much to like - from the comfortable beds, beautiful patio on the roof to fully equiped kitchenn. We spent in Macarena´s house 4 days and it felt like home. We did different trips everyday and when we came back, we had everything we needed - we cooked dinner, dined together at the dining table, hang out in the living room, watched TV and other things. Also, it is important to note that the kitchen has everything you can possibly ask for.
We´ve met Macarena personally when she handed us the keys, she was very helpful, showed us everything, gave us very useful tips and prepared a present for us. Thanks you again!
Apart from things above, it´s in the most beautiful village in Mallorca located in the city center. The vibe of the place and surroundings is great.

If you want to feel like a local in a picturesque mountain village, this is your place to go. We had the apartment upstairs and highly enjoyed the roof terrace at night when the heat was gone. Macarena is a lovely host. There was nothing in the apartment we missed. The only thing, you might miss, could be an air condition during very hot weeks, but there was a ventilator in every room. The apartment was also very clean. The village itself has nice shops, bakeries and restaurants. And it is great starting point to take an impressive mountain ride to Port de Valldemossa or along the coast by bike or car.

Excellent location within a very nice little mountain village with good facilities. The property was a typical Spanish house which fitted in beautifully with the location. Macarena could not have been a better host.
The property consists of two let apartments so you are a bit dependent on the other guests behaving in a considerate way especially regarding noise. This is difficult for Macarena to influence.
