Naturaleza!!

You will not be disappointed spending a few nights here if your goal is to get into nature and disconnected from this technology ran world we are in. Amazing staff, amazing experience overall. Just be warned, one time here won't be enough, you will be back
Could use fans in the rooms as it does get hot but only during part of the year. Most of the year it's very cool

the bats in the bedroom were sweet.
the local boys who work there as cooks were nice.
this is not a hotel, it is old sheds in the jungle, not fit for purpose and should not be on the website.
A tarantula in the room, the bedding is old and not suitable - fleece lower sheet and a duvet - so too hot to sleep, the bed base was old and dirty, mosquito net didn’t fit the bed, the shower was dirty and cracked, gaps around the cabin door and part of the doorframe eaten by insects, broken planks on the balcony, balcony was very dirty. this is not a hotel -it’s old sheds in the jungle and was not fit for purpose. we didn’t feel safe there. we did the night hike but there was more wildlife in our bedroom. we left a day early.

Great location on the volcano in the jungle, quite remote.
Good breakfast, friendly & helpful staff. On property, viewpoint in trees accessed by steep steps ( not suitable for young children)
Not so easy to jump on transport to top of volcano as trucks fill up further down fhe road (it was busier because it was the weekend). Needed to walk quite steeply uphill to cafe to get lift. Would be unsuitable if you have difficulty walking.

Staff is so nice and so helpful. Nicholas is super generous too, picked us up from the base and dropped us off after our stay. The food is great, especially for being in the middle of the jungle. El Mirador is beautiful, be sure to check it out! We saw a bunch of howler monkeys. Ask about the night tour! Very cool
Everything was great

Great location for the hike up Mombacho. Nicolas and his team were phenomenal in catering to all our needs. The nocturnal tour is a must. Brekkie is huge and lovely.
Maybe bring a mosquito net if you need one. We didn't need one, so not a problem for us. The cabins have full meshing on the windows and doors anyway.

perfect location in the middle of the rainforest, where you can hear all the animals! Cozy feeling in the restaurant with hammocks and games. the Hotel also has a wired stair up in a 20 meter tall tree where you can see the whole landscape 🤩
Staff were kind and offered a night walk in the forest (say yes to this!). Restaurant was great and fair prices.
You live in the forest, so expect insects and spiders. Bring mosquito spray.

location is the best. in the middle of the forest, gigantic trees and exotic plants - far away from civilization. on the hotel's ground hanging bridge with the platform in the top of the trees with amazing view. ideal place to watch birds. Highly recommended.

Loved the rustic cabins in the jungle, hiking trails, monkeys, and treetop stairway with amazing views of Mombacho volcano, Granada, Lake Nicaragua, and surrounding areas. The peaceful setting was a welcome change after the hustle and bustle and loud music at night in Granada. Food was delicious, and the owner was super nice, giving us a ride not just back down the mountain, but all the way to the bus stop after our stay. He even provided bug spray!

We had a fantastic 2 day stay in the Mombacho Lodge. Staying in our own cabin on the volcano in the middle of the jungle has been a real highlight of our trip. Nicolas and the team have been extremely welcoming by picking/dropping us from the park entrance and cooking great dinners and breakfast. Additionally, I can highly recommend doing the night 'safari' with the team around the lodge grounds.

amazing location in middle of the reserve. you have to walk or they can give you a ride in 4x4.
so relaxed, quiet and connected to nature. with all it pro and cons.
the guys taking care of the place are amazing and super lovely. and by the way amazing chefs. their food was cooked with love. the mirador at 25m in a tree stands for itself. no more words discover on your own. I will be back!
If you don’t like spiders, insects and fresh air. stay somewhere else.
disconnect from digital reconnect with nature
the only thing to optimise:
information about tours( coffeee and the ones from the natural reserve) like that the lodge prepares a little info paper to make plans without walking down to the reserve entrance. but anyways with radio everything there works out!

we enjoy it very much, the service was excellent and the guys who took care of us were the best, very friendly and professionals.
there was nothing that we didn't like...the place is very quiet it, lots of forest, we enjoy los monos, the fresh air, the pathways or walks path, the mirador with 90 steps all the way up, very safe.

my goodness where do I start.
Nicolas is a fantastic host, prior to our stay here made sure we were able to access the property safely. we parked our car in the mombacho volcano parkinglot and we’re picked up by Nicolas in a 4x4 and taken up to the lodge the ride up was gorgeous and a fantastic experience on its own. bug spray mosquito nets and flashlights are provided to patroons to make the stay more comfortable there were a few little trails we got to explore during the day ans a wonderful mirador nestled on the top of a tree that has a wonderful view of Granada. Diner was truly a 5 star experience. they have their way of making each guest feel seen. the coffee was amazing and grown on the Mombacho. we wish we would’ve had time to stay for breakfast 10/10 recommend to a friend
thank you times a million Nicolas for the experience

I had a bad experience on my first day there because a sneak felt from the sealing on top of me and I'm super afraid of sneak, but that was the only sneak I sow for the rest of my stay but because of that insident i was in fear the whole time and i end up checking out early
The nature, the view of the mountain and trees, also you can see the monkeys on the trees.

The staff is very friendly, there are comfy beds and strong WiFi, it’s in a jungle on the side of a volcano, the food was delicious and the Mirador they made is stunning.
No WiFi in the rooms, only at the cafe.

It was easy to access.
The bed linens were diagusting, overworn and stained, our cabin was very dirty everywhere, we even had a huge spider handing from the wall until we realized it was dead. There was no cleaning to that cabin prior our arrival. There were not many food/drink options, and the price for it was too expensive vs quality.

Full of nature. A place to charge energy; quiet, peaceful and modest.

Very peaceful, beautiful, unique location on Mombacho. The trails around the lodge are also very nice. The staff cooked very good meals for us. We also enjoyed the guided wildlife night walk very much.
