Affordable stay near the center!

Walking distance to all of the city highlights, very friendly, helpful staff. Goran the owner helped address any issue we had, and when the tax we'd ordered wasn't big enough he saved the day.

Could easily be excellent, but needs more attention from the owner. Goran, action please!

Location!

Lack of necessary maintenance! A leaving toilet could easily be fixed, and the same goes for the net keeping mosquitos out of the room. Seems like a lack of care. Also a security / safety risk that strangers can walk unhindered from the street to ‘my door’. Unlocked entrance doors 24/7.

very kind staff, parking for free circa 100 meters from hostel, amazing location close to the city centre, for the price you will get everything you need

in shower I could hang my towel anywhere and put my clothes (maybe I just haven’t notice where)

Excellent location, super comfy bed and balcony with a view. Recommended!

Owner was really nice and helpful, everything went smooth with check in and out. Apartment is huge and clean, super comfy huge bed! Highly recommended!

Superb

Wifi was very excellent. David is very helpful person. Sonya is excellent and cheerful person. I like her too much. We talked about everything. The location was very good. The room was very clean. The towels smell good. The staff(I don't know her name) gave me her own coffee in the morning. Thank you for everything Hostel 42 family.

Taxi prices was little bit high. But it isn't related with hotel. Maybe the room will be more comfortable.

Superb

Goran and his staff are the most valuable part of this property. Their kindness and willingness to provide any requested service is priceless. From the very beginning, Goran instructed us how to get to all the tourist spots. He even went with us to a local restaurant where there are real local specialties and booked us a place for lunch. The room and bathroom are modest and some things were missing for complete comfort, but considering the price it is not even expected. The location is great. Definitely a good price-quality ratio.

Don't book the private room

The internet worked

The private room was not not located at the hostel and I needed to be driven by car to the room after paying for it at reception. The bed mattress was hard and uncomfortable and the thin blanket they put on the bed was not enough to keep me warm through the night. The room was not soundproof at all and was woken at 3am and also 6am by my neighbours coming home and leaving. The hot water in the shower in the morning ran out after 2min. There was no curtain on the window and the broken shades let the outside city lights shine into the room all night.

Great value and friendly staff

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great little kitchen and added bonus of tea making facilities. Very clean and bed very comfortable. Room small but had all we needed.

Balcony was used by smokers and due to my asthma this caused me health issues. Couldn't go out of room.
