Lovely staff, comfy bed, convenient location and a nice view of the water.

Great location across the road from the Courthouse Cafe and a short drive from the Mussel Inn - both great recommendations :) The bed was super comfy - wasn't too springy or saggy like in other places I've stayed.

if you stay in Collingwood, stay here.

the staff were excellent, the unit was exceptionally clean and facilities were excellent. location is perfect. keep up the good work you do.

the only issue was that the next door neighbours were noisy, but with a visit from the owner and then myself if settled down.

Central, clean and great motel.

Loved how central the motel was. It was spotlessly clean and the staff were lovely. Very clean, comfortable bed and bedding.

A few minor things...Unfortunately the walls were very thin and you could easily hear the neighbours. The room held 3 single beds upstairs and a double bed downstairs with hardly any storage. Honestly think the rooms would be better minus a single bed, as felt slightly cramped.

Friendly and welcoming with wonderful views across the estuary

Amber was very welcoming when we checked in after a long day on the road. Gave good advice about local attractions and eating places. Checked later to see how we were settling in. Location, on the estuary, was beautiful and we got some spectacular sunsets while sitting on the benches overlooking the water. Easy access to Puponga and Farewell Spit walks, Wharariki Beach, the Heaphy Track. Lots to do

Geriatric hippy from the cafe next door decided to throw a party with live "music" (word used very loosely) which went on until 1045pm. NOT the fault of Collingwood Park Motel and Amber very apologetic. Just made one less cafe that I would patronise so an easier choice when deciding where to eat.

somewhat short of space, we had to hotspot off our phones for reliable internet

Wonderful people, wonderful grounds, wonderful location. Had a great time.

Management was lovely. Being right on the water was super, and the town is tiny so we walked to dinner and wine. Museum was interesting, and the walk up to the historic cemetary was perfect.

More storage for luggage and personal belongings. Not really anywhere to hang things up.. A tiny bit softer bed.

The location and convenience of being in Collingwood for access to Farewell Spit.

The bathroom was a little small but adequate.

The location was excellent for local trips to Farewell Spit and beaches. Only a 2 minute walk for breakfast & dinners. Staff was very helpful and run a tight ship

Great location in a very small village. Very quiet and comfortable

Overall room size was good, but for two the split level arrangement meant that much of the space was not really useful. Would be great though for a family with children.

Easily one of the best motels I've ever stayed in, you can see the attention to detail

I've traveled all over and was one of the cleanest rooms I've ever stayed in The lakehouse room gives you a little extra privacy and a really nice view from the bed over the inlet Has everything you need including cooking gear Bed was great and it has heat/ac for maximum comfort

Good location right in Collingwood, beds were comfortable, good WiFi. It’s a basic motel, fine for one night.

Small kitchenette is suitable for simple meal prep.

Wonderful location to enjoy the sights of Golden Bay; comfortable room, friendly staff.

Great location - across from a small museum and the grocery store, easy drive to hiking and beach walks. Convenient to have laundry service on site.
