Kind & generous host. Amazing Amalfi coast view.

We loved the beautiful landscape of Agerola. This accomodation has a wonderful terrace where you can sit and enjoy the mountain range of the Amalfi coast. A perfect getaway for travellers. The host Vittorio was very kind in helping us arrive to the property and guided us in navigating around the Amalfi coast. He showed us how to get from Agerola to Positano, as well as giving me great information of the nearby trek: Path of the gods. We are very appreciative of his kindness and generosity. We hope to see him again when we return to the Amalfi coast. Matt and Kayla :)

It’s like visiting your old friends in Italy.

The highlight of the property are the owners/hosts. Vitto and Doris welcome you and treat you as if you’re visiting their own home. We received some tips and advice on how to spend our days and Vitto even drove us to a bus stop 10 minutes away to ensure we get into the bus before it gets too crowded.

Very little that I didn’t like. The few things that could be improved is to freshen up the furnishings. It was a bit dated; but then again, we spent so little time inside, that it almost didn’t matter.

Great find in a cool little neighborhood. Hosts made you feel like it was home.

The place was spacious and very clean and comfortable. The view is amazing but most importantly, the hosts were just incredible. So kind!!! They even made us a wonderful dinner both nights which was delicious

It was great. Just need to know it takes 35/40 min bus ride to beach but amazing.

Comfortable stay at Agerola

The place is very accessible and comfortable. Less than 50m from the bus stop, with transport links to Amalfi and Naples. The host Vittorio is extremely helpful and accommodating. It was a pleasure to stay in his listing and we are looking forward to staying here again very soon!

Once we arrived the host of the house was so warm and helpful. He gave full detailed information about the area and local activities. He drove us to see sunset and panorama. I and my husband were so happy when he cook for us a homemade pasta with tomato from his garden. I definitely recommend for everyone and host will spoil you with his attention.

Home Away from Home

Lovely view over Agerola! Vittorio and Doris were very helpful and friendly hosts that felt like family and gave excellent advice. Loved the morning cake and homemade limoncello! Cute dog Remy adds to it feeling like home away from home. Very friendly local pizzaria is 2 minutes away and small and friendly grocery shop also nearby. Hot shower with good water pressure. Good cooking facility. We were lucky to try some of the bottled tomatoes from the garden! (Too early for fresh). Thank you! 9.5/10 but booking doesn't let us give half stars!

Nothing much. Should mention that if you have a sensitive back/neck/hips the bed may be a bit hard for a side sleeper.

Exceptional

The host was very warm and friendly and suggested a few tips as well to explore the place and surroundings. He was also helpful to locate and drive us off to a convenient location where we can use public transport. I would definitely recommend staying more at the place. The apartment was lovely with beautiful views and gardens.

There is nothing to dislike at all :) may be just the price per night ;)

A home away from home!

Vittorio and Doris made for one of my best stays on the Amalfi coast. From the moment we arrived they looked after our every need! They cooked for us every evening, which wasn't planned or expected. The "pizza dinner " was one of the highlights. This won't be my last visit to "La Pennichella"!!!!

Awesome experience

We have loved the location. The apartment is located in a quiet small village surrounded by mountains where the trekking lovers will find their happiness but also close to the sea We have loved our hosts. A dreamlike stay that deeply remains in our memories; we shall be happy to go there again!

We had a great fortnight in Campora. Thanks to its 650 m elevation it was never too hot, so you sleep well there. View over the village and the sea is gorgeous. The owners are very kind; they are always available for giving directions and suggestions for activities. They are also ready to give you a lift in their car, and they spoiled us with excellent tiramisu and chocolate cake. Moreover, they prepare delicious pasta and pizza. Bus stop is just a few steps away, so you can rely on public transport. Also, a nice pizzeria (da Nando) is nearby. Campora is a great starting point for hiking, e.g. sentiero degli dei, and others on the slopes of costiera amalfitana.

Amazing home cooked food with views over the green mountains

We had a great stay at La Pennichella, the hosts Vitorio and Doris are a very friendly couple. They cooked great traditional dinners for us with fresh vegetables from their own garden. We sat every evening and enjoyed their home cooked amazing Italian food on the terrass overlooking the green mountains of Agerola. The appartement was big and very clean. We didnt have a car but that was no problem as the host could help us out with daytrips down to Almalfi coast.

I think Northern Europe people are used to softer mattresses but that's not really a problem.
