Peaceful and wholesome

We were warmly welcomed by Claudia who was an exceptional host. We enjoyed meeting the goose, duck, cats and gentle dog. The house is a renovated mill and is full of charm. Claudia made us a hearty breakfast, cheese ham bread yoghurt and fruit.

We didn't drive, but if you need to park a car it is quite tight.

Nice rural location, run by great hosts.

Great hosts, personable, helpful and interesting people. The location was surrounded by agriculture crop fields, the outdoor sitting area was nice, except for the heatwave occurring during our stay, where the AC in the room was great to have.

Disappointing

it's every persons different opinion ,of course ,but for me and my girlfriend as we are young too , was quiet out of our comfort zone ,so i do not recommend really for this kind of €(amount) you can find something way better. if you're okay with 'farm style' accommodations then it's maybe for you. very wet air and smells super bad, :(

Pleasant stay

I liked its rustic nature and the fact that they kept the history in the building. Very quiet location and nice host.

The bed and pillows were not very comfortable. Parking spaces are limited but wasn’t a problem for us.

Lovely one night stay at this lovely place.

The check -in and check-out times. The cozy atmosphere, the peace and quietness of the surrendings.

I would have liked to have an extra coffee pod. Many bags of tea but only one coffee pod available.

Superb

The owners were so kind helpful sincere and had good humour and spark! The nature nearby was fascinating and the rustic simplicity and character of the place a joy. It had all one would want for people who enjoy interesting travel and real places.

Excellent, rural touring base for a short or long stay.

Set in a rural location surrounded by corn fields we were given a lovely clean room with a homely, lived-in atmosphere. If you want a modern, Habitat style hotel this is not for you but we loved it. Claudia, the host, welcomed us with a glass (or two) of very nice port. She speaks excellent English (and several other languages) and has a wealth of knowledge about the region. Breakfast, served outside, was more than adequate. This is a good location for exploring the area. The Aveiro lagoon and beach are only a short drive away and there are good restaurants and supermarkets nearby.

We ended up staying an extra night. So cozy!

The owners are the best! Breakfast was superb, very gourmet. I loved the farm atmosphere!

It’s a bit difficult to find. But worth it. Looks iffy driving up to it.

Very friendly owners to give local advice

Room 3 - Extremely small room, too much furniture and very thin floor/walls so you can hear the downstairs guests talking and snoring. Barking dogs all night will keep you awake so best bring earplugs.
