beautiful setting. wine tasting was a great addition. loved sitting outside in the morning watching the mist come out of the valley.
as a family we were all in the one room. we knew this when we booked, and it worked.

The vineyard was absolutely outstanding. The meals where a little pricey and the takeaway hamper needs a little tweaking.
Other than that great place for the day and stay Thank you Kinross for the experience.

We understood that the dining was excellent - but it wasn't available! A long way to go to get anything to eat.

good location
Two issues: no evening meal (though take away pizza was offered); and, inadequate supply of hot water at peak time.
4.5
location, room, staff
when we booked it had a restaurant so we assumed food would be easy. However, the cut back menu, which wasn’t particularly good & overpriced, in combination with the restrictive hours, made eating problematic. In the little kitchen in the room, there were no kitchen wipes or simple condiments to then make cooking easier.

Loved everything.
Sacha is amazing as front of house.
Bistro staff super friendly and lovely to talk to Indie.
Lawrence is very knowledgeable all things wine and my husband and I enjoyed the complimentary wine tasting.
The cottage was spot on with superb interiors and everything you needed, very clean and very roomy.
The very large bed was extremely comfortable.
Location exceptional, peaceful and quiet.
The hot tub a highlight and the pizza fabulous.
Thank you team Kinross, keep doing what you're doing, highly recommend.

loved everything, wish we had longer!!

The room was huge and had the most amazing view across the vines. You could use the hot tub, which also had a great outlook. We stayed on a Sunday and when we arrived there was live music at the cellar door which was great. There was a complementary wine tasting included.
Not a great provision of teas/coffees for a boutique hotel.

The studio was beautiful, really well designed, with loads of space. One side looking onto the hill, the other over the vineyard. Lovely and quiet, birdsong, rabbits on the hill. Complimentary wine tasting was great fun, just with the other overnight guests. They have great wines. Staff were so positive and helpful. There was a full kitchen for self catering in the studio but you can order a take away from the bistro to collect at 5pm. Love the eco toiletries using local ingredients. We booked the hot tub which has great views over the valley. We walked to peregrine wines 2km along the cycle track, great, then to rockburn on the way back and had lunch at the Gibbston tavern next door. ( All like it if you book to help manage their time). And bought peonies from the stall on the road.
Missed out on breakfast. The bistro looked great. Check out the website.

Location is beautiful and the cabins are comfortable, well appointed and tidy. Cleanliness was excellent too.
Unfortunately the experience was tainted by very disorganized and unknowledgeable staff.
Amateur hour started at check in, and from thereon a slew of miscomunication between several members of the staff left my wife and I waiting for our dinner hamper for more than two hours. If I did not go and try to understand what was happening I think I would be still waiting for it.
The wine tasting experience exhibited a very unseasoned wine steward. The different wines (5 in total) were served in the same glass. After tasting the first wine, the wine steward started pouring the second wine in the same glass, when I interjected saying the glass was already used, he said, "can´t you use the same glass?". One could make an excuse if the party had too many people and the place was understaffed but that was not the case. There was a total of five people. WOW, for a moment there I thought I was having a drink with a couple of mates in someones abode and not in a professional venue... and even then I am sure that the most attentive host or hostess would assure guests had different glasses for the different type of wines.

Loved the individual studio bedrooms overlooking the vineyards and mountains, and set among the beautiful grounds. The staff did an excellent job seeing to our needs. Martial Passignat, our sommelier for the wine tasting, was exceptional. Dinner was very good.

A beautiful, quiet location not far from Queenstown, set among the vines of a vineyard. The garden rooms we had were enormous with an extra large double bed, dining area and well-equipped kitchen. The grounds were well kept and had a lovely trail which took you around the vineyard and gave you some beautiful vistas.
There was a wine tasting included with the stay but ours seemed to be a little rushed by the man doing it. Perhaps this was due to staffing issues as he kept leaving us to deal with other staff. The restaurant was only doing pizza takeouts and not a full menu the night we stayed.

All the ingredients for a great vineyard stay. Relaxed accommodating staff. Beautiful surroundings.

Good location amongst vineyards
Would like a better coffee option in the unit (like a plunger or Nespresso machine not only instant powder).

Location was great and the fact that we could have out dog in our room was brilliant. Our room was nice and spacious and had everything we could need.
Mattresses were very soft but that's just personnel preference of a firmer mattress and I didn't think the breakfast was value for money

How relaxing and peaceful it was
Nope
