Room was disgusting with stains all over the walls. Bathroom was no better, also the food was bland and tasteless

Clean room and excellent location
Nothing to note

Nice towels. Received help with luggage. Good pillows and linnen. Liked the atmosphere.
Waterpressure poor. Showerdoors and toiletseat loose. Bathroom door did’t close. No toiletroll holder. Bed very hard.

The landlady was conscientious of the rooms and we felt did everything she could.
The beds very hard but thats a personnel taste to prefer a softer bed.

Location was good for us
Seemed a little dated but no major issues
3.6
Location fab. Very dog friendly. Lots of cafes surrounding for breakfast.
Smallish room but reflected in price. Good value.
3.6
Restaurant downstairs really good food.
The room really needs updating and general tidying up .
3.6
Dated rooms. No iron or ironing board available. Cleaner wanted you out at 10 in the morning. Access via the back stairs or through the pub only. However if you are on a budget it is ok
As above

Everything was ok

Location was central and lots of facilities close by
A bit too warm in the room at night.
3.6
Great location. Staff friendly. Room clean & comfortable.
Had Sunday lunch which was fantastic.
Only issue is no on-site parking. Suggest a DDDC rover pass if staying for a few days.
3.6
Comfortable bed, good housekeeping, friendly, good position, able to park nearby, good menu and food so we ate in every evening. Really good value .
We had no complaints.
3.6
location
damp, no heating, the smell of mould and damp in the room
3.6
Comfy beds
Complementary water, biscuits and tea and coffee
Good food in the pub downstairs
Big fluffy white towels
Lovely market Square spoilt by the amount of heavy traffic having to go through centre of town, the vast majority of them trucks and lorries.
3.6
Right in the centre of town. Good room facilities.
No breakfast available and local businesses did not open until 09.00 on a Sunday. If you need an early start this is frustrating.
3.6
Comfortable. very central. Helpful staff.
Very limited parking. Noisy guests. No blackout blinds. No air con.

Good location in centre of town. Room was basic but comfortable. A good base for exploring the area.
Pets are allowed
Having to park in pay and display at £2.50 for 2 hours during the day but only £1.00 for overnight parking that's if able to get a parking spot during daytime.
Traffic noise was an issue especially early morning as hotel adjacent to main road.
Had to wait 40mins to get booked in as person responsible had just popped out for a minute.
Although on the whole room was pleasant and reasonably clean the underside of the kettle lid felt sticky which put me off making tea in the room also the toilet was difficult to flush.
3.6
Perfect location in the centre of town, friendly and helpful staff, good range of food drink on offer and decent price for a one night stay
Can hear every movement made in the building but the property is old and wasn't a major issue, just something to be mindful of if you're a light sleeper

Central location, plenty of places to eat and drink around the hotel, very friendly staff, all in all very good.
Nice pub and hotel . Quality food.
3.6
Friendly staff, good location & clean
No parking (I ended up with a £25 parking ticket in the car park outside), no breakfast offered & room very small for a double so at £150 for 2 nights I think a little bit over priced
