Great location stay in penang street

Guest house just in the lively street, very convenient to walk to any place. Facilities all good, multiple toilet, and shared bedrooms are quite big. Nice stay in penang

Kommen nicht wieder

Das Zimmer war nicht sauber. Der Fußboden war sandig und es lagen Haare bzw. Haarbüschel auf dem Boden und im Waschbeken waren auch sehr viele Haare.

A nice hostel, but there are better options!

Good location, not far from the main streets. The common area is very nice and they also have their own café. There is a water filter you can use to fill your water bottle for free! Beds and pillows were comfortable.

The dorm room is huge with 18 beds! So lighting and noise is usually a problem with so many people together. The bunk beds do not have curtains, which means there is no privacy. The lockers are outside of the room and very small. The dorm room is located up a flight of stairs while the bathrooms are downstairs, making it very inconvenient constantly having to go up and down. And the bathrooms were quite dirty and smelly.

OK stay

We stayed at Rope Walk due to the location and price and for the price our stay was OK. The staff were nice but not overly helpful regarding where anything was in the property and around the area. We stayed in two different rooms both were extremely loud from people walking around upstairs and the thin walls did keep us up at night. The beds were OK. Unfortunately there was only 1 toilet working which meant there was a lot of waiting around. Showers were good. Free tea and coffee and water refills. Not very social.

location is great. Room is very clean and comfortable. there is a common space on the ground floor to chat with other guests. I had a great stay.

Expensive for what it was and rude staff

Clean room and showers were warm

The staff were unhelpful, blunt and pretty rude to be honest. Also the windows didn't shut properly so there were mosquitos in the evening.

I should make better life choices

You get what you pay for. I paid for the living room with good Ac, loud and uncomfortable 2O bed dorm that feels like an orphanage, and meeting possibly the stupidest American in Southeast Asia… (I’m from California). Also, good luck getting into the building before check-in time, hahaha

Great location & decent single rooms

The single room was nice, although a small space but the value is very good. The air conditioning worked well and being a cozy room it cooled down quickly. The bed was very comfy.

The walls and ceiling (if on the ground floor) are paper thin. The person walking above me sounded like a heard of elephants! The bathroom area was pretty dirty, but all in all a decent stay at a very good price.

Room, toilet and shower too dirty (hair everywhere). Bad lighting. Slow wifi in our room.
