On our way to Tortuguero (la pavona). No breakfast but you can get at the dock.Staff very helpful. Sloth in garden. Only stayed one night.
Shower is like a lot in Costa Rica, rustic but had hot water.

Good stay over night location before leaving the car in La Pavona to take the boat to Tourtugeiro National Park
Very simple room, very hot, noisy at night from fauna and noisy people arriving at 4 am

Location: perfect for a night stay before reaching La Pavona to go to Tortuguero.
The staff were very helpful. They also booked a Collectivo for us to pick us up to La Pavona to catch the boat to Tortuguero.
Ambience of the area is amazing, with greenary around the cabins and you can also find frogs around outside.
There is nothing closeby, except the town further up. If you happen to arrive late, you have to stock up on food.

value for money was great, a good place to stop on the way to tortugero! rooms are very simple but as to be expected for the price, everything was clean

The room was clean and the shower had hot water! We stayed here after missing the boat to Tortuguera.

The location was great. It was central to everything, and to bring luggage from public boat dock to hotel, it was very close with paved access, like 100-200 meters. Plus, the hotel had its own boat dock. Communication through whatsapp was easy, and tours were lined up ahead of time. It almost felt like a family run business. I brought my three small children, and I felt very safe walking around and at the hotel with them.
Some horn noise from boats on the river one of the morning around 5 am, but honestly, it was not a very big deal as my children said they did not wake up from it.

best spot to sleep to get a ferry to tortuguero early the next day. about 40 min driving from la pavona Embarcadero.
it was good value for money and the guy at the reception very helpful

nearest town with hotels close to Tortuguero; 40 minute drive over good roads to la Pavona, for the ferry to Tortuguero; comfortable stay; quiet; 24 hour desk
desk staff had almost no English

Very good location if you want to start with the first bus to La Pavona, (leaving at 5 AM). Town has not many Tourists in the evening.
Bathroom could be a bit bigger. Door didn't close properly. Matress was already pretty worn out.
7.0
Nice plot of land and quiet rooms.
WiFi didn't stretch to the room. No WiFi.
8.0
the hotel area was huge and there were some sitting areas around.
the receptionist was really nice and let us check in early. the room was very clean and tidy.
the hotel was a bit far from the centre considering Cariari is a very small town. When we had to take the bus, we had to leave early as there was some walking distance to the terminal.
their business is mostly targeted to transportists so there was quite some activity during the evening as the trucks entered the hotel, but nothing too upsetting.

Staff, location, the things that I really enjoyed. The room is nice too.
Not so quite the night we were but it was normal bc of a special event in the village, so nothing to say.

really friendly helpful receptionist, set out of the main town so it’s more quiet, nice grounds to sit in.
There is complimentary coffee on offer throughout the day.
I walked from the bus station but with a taxi it’s about a 3 minute ride.
There was no kitchen facilities if your used to preparing your own food.

The room was ok and the bed was comfortable. It has a small table and two chairs, TV and AC. It's good for a short stay.
The shower could've been better, water wasn't hot enough.

We only stayed one night on our way to Tortuguero. It was very simple but sufficient for the one night stay. The room was clean and it had a nice big property
Very simple room. Not so comfortable bed.
