Overall very relaxing, and a nice & central location.

I liked the dog Peppe, she was friendly and the trees and natural bushland surroundings.

The beds were a bit too firm for myself and my friend, who is in the bed selling business. My friend commented on how a comfortable bed is always one of the most important things when you are sleeping away from home.

It was great. We enjoyed the whole experience

we didn't have the breakfast because when I'm on holiday I like to not prepare meals and I like to support local businesses. The setting at Friends was lovely and not too far from town. Would happily recommend it to others.

No dislikes as we really only use it to relax at night and sleep

Great location.. comfortable place to stay. More than enough breakfast provisions. Peter ( and Pepe his Border Collie) were the perfect hosts. Will stay there again

Relaxing, fabulous location and welcoming host and environment.

Peter was a fabulous host, very welcoming, full of knowledge about the area. The provisions were exceptions and we enjoyed BBQ-ing our breaky every morning and eating outside on lovely, peaceful deck.

Peter is a great host and his place is perfect for a family to explore SA

Peter's Friends at McLaren Vale B&B place is such a family-friendly place and we thoroughly enjoyed our 3-night stay. The location is good- it's in a quiet area of wineries so walking in the morning was very nice, and not far from beaches, main wineries and shopping places. The room set-up is not only functional but also stylish, actually those photos did not do it justice. We loved the variety of food Peter prepared in the fridge for our breakfast, found those electronic cooking gears handy for making a brekkie or even dinner, and enjoyed the comfy beds and great collection of books in the living room. The best part is sitting on the deck watching the beautifcal garden and playing with Peter's friendly dog Peppe. Peppe has brought so much fun to my 10-year old daughter. It's a lovely place and Peter is a wonderful host. We are thankful for his hospitality and will highly recommend his place to any friends who are travelling to SA!

Peter had thought of everything and was very accommodating - plenty of food for breakfast, all utilities were provided for and the house is in a very nice location. Peter's dog Peppie is also very friendly.

Perfect place for exploring McLaren Vale!

Everything you could possibly need was already thought of including a very generously stock fridge. Heating throughout the place was more than adequate and included electric blankets. It is situated in a quiet location. The property’s proximity to well-known McLaren Vale tourist attractions and wineries made for easy day trips.

Perfect in every way.

Everything you need for a great stay. Location is excellent for exploring the McLaren Vale district. The outdoor areas with the abundant wildlife were great for relaxation.

Brilliant host and accommodation. Can't recommend highly enough. Dog Friendly.

Beautiful setting and accommodation. Excellent information from our host. Very close to a lot of wineries and a distillery. Would stay here again if I was going to SA. We had our dog with us and he loved how much open (and fenced in) space there was. For our next trip to SA we plan on staying here for the duration.

Loved Friends - highly recommend

Friends is a lovely place to base yourself to explore everything McLaren Vale has to offer. It’s also a lovely place just to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Self contained with breakfast ready to prep in the fridge, there is plenty of space to enjoy. There are two bedrooms - a queen and a twin room. A good size bathroom, a well-provisioned lounge/kitchenette and access to a lovely deck with a bbq. Our hosts were amazing with great communication before we arrived and while we were there. Such a lovely part of the world - we’re really glad we got to discover it. Thanks so much ♥️

The owner is very nice. He even drove us to town for dinner, then returned to pick us up afterwards. Fridge was stocked well with supplies.

Walking distance to some great cellar doors and Pizzateca. Comfortable, homely vibe. We’ll stock fridge for breakfast. Overall very pleasant experience.

Friendly, comfortable and clean!

Peter was friendly and helpful, greeting us on arrival. Facilities were very clean and neat. Fridge was filled with beautiful produce to make our own breakfast. Shower was hot!

Only that as we travelled for a wedding, we didn’t have more time to relax and unwind in such a beautiful location.
