The location was good - just far enough away from the centre so that the hotel was quiet, but near enough to walk to the resort’s bars and restaurants. The room was very clean and comfortable. The gardens were very peaceful.
The breakfast menu could have been more varied. There was no fridge in the room which would have been useful.

Central location, nice old hotel, beds and pillows very comfortable.
I would like to see some art work on the white walls, it made the bedroom look very bland. The breakfast was exactly the same every day so got pretty boring on a 5 night stay. Staff were very nice but could be more knowledgeable about the parking meters.

A group of 8 stayed at Villa Vasco da Gama and we all agreed it was the best hotel we have stayed in.

Situated in a quiet area it isn’t far from the main town and all the facilities. There are some good (and reasonably priced) restaurants a short stroll away frequented by the locals which is always a good sign. The building and public areas are very nice.
Breakfast was fairly average. The “hot breakfast was always cold. The fruit was chopped up finely to make it appear there was more of it. Whilst the property has aspirations of being upmarket charging €2 for a fried egg smacks of penny pinching. Not good when the nightly rate is well above average for the area.Whilst we were in a standard room it was the smallest room for two people I’ve ever stayed in. Nicely decorated and clean but little room for luggage without tripping up over it.

We had an excellent stay at this small boutique Hotel. It's spotlessly clean, very comfortable and in a perfect location, only a few minutes walk into Cascais. We had four rooms between us and all were a lovely size with very large and comfortable beds, lovely towels and bed linens and full sized shampoos, conditioner and body wash in the shower. The Air con was really efficient and very quiet. We wouldn't hesitate to return
The breakfast room is very small and gets very congested around 9am. The water temperature in the shower changed constantly

In total, as expected. Nice personnel. Clean and specious rooms. Basic but fine breakfast. Good location, between the sea, beaches and city centre.
The pool was not as big and beautiful as shown on the pictures. The water did not invite to get in; felt a bit greasy.

We arrived early and was allowed to check in, always appreciated. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.
The property is a beautiful old Villa, that has been restored. About 5-10 mins walk from the main centre of Cascais.

Naar beach and boulevard. Breakfast is nice, I loved the yoghurt!
Room 11 - Toilet, very small and too much Light. If some one is a sleep and the other goes to toilet switching on the toiletlight will wake you up.
The lock in the door is really bad, very difficult to close the door. Needs fixing urgently.
There are "free" bikes but they need maintenance...

I loved the decor and the location. Close enough to the lively area yet quiet at night.
Everything was great; I really don’t have anything negative to say.
