An overnight with friends. We loved Mossies.

Quiet and secluded location. A beautiful house, tastefully and carefully restored. Matti and Vanessa are perfect hosts. They’ve thought of everything to ensure guests’ comfort and enjoyment. Rooms are luxurious and very comfortable. Breakfast is a highlight. The gardens are perfect for a stroll.

The showers could be upgraded.

A real gem in a beautiful part of Ireland!

Beautiful escape in the West of Cork! Mossie's is a real gem and every detail is thought through and delivered with perfection from the arrival, to the hosts, to the rooms and the breakfast. You won't regret staying here if you can manage to get a room!

This house is beautifully decorated and the hosts have a very close attention to every detail. From delicious breakfasts to the most beautiful room overlooking a stunning garden and with a view on the bay. A keeper!

Just a wonderful, beautiful place - really lived up to the "luxury accommodation" tag.

Beautiful location, wonderfully friendly and accommodating hosts. Extremely comfortable bed. Fabulous breakfast. Gorgeous cats.

Perfection, plain and simple

This place is flawless. Vanessa is a very skilled cook and baker, Matty is a thoroughly gracious host. The grounds are simply amazing. Everything one could need or want has been thought of and provided. We will be back.

Leaving so soon. If I had realized how much the Beara had to offer I would have booked a whole week at Mossie's.

No Wi-Fi in the room was a real problem. Very inconvenient to have to keep going downstairs.

An oasis of calm and relaxation.

Elegantly furnished , to a very high standard, in a beautiful location. The attention to detail in every aspect of our stay was faultless. Our breakfast each morning was delicious, and last but most importantly, our hosts , Matti and Vanessa were exceptional. Mossie’s would not be the same without them.

Great hosts, a beautiful location. The premises are clean and very well presented.

Everything except the lack of local amenities. Pubs, restaurants etc. As it is not possible to dine on the premises in the evening it is necessary to drive a round- trip of at least 45 minutes in order to eat. Only one pub open in the vicinity, it being quite a miserable experience. Great breakfasts provided by the hosts.

No TV throughout entire property and as above.

A beautiful setting, amazing decor, fabulous host ans most delicious breakfast. Veru comfortable bed and gorgeous view from our big double window.

Amazing! Everything was excellent. Room’s beautiful, views spectacular, food was gorgeous, Matti & Vanessa were wonderful hosts and most definitely helped make our stay very enjoyable, from serving us tea in front of the open fire after a full day out to advice on what to do in this stunning location. A special thank you for telling us about the Healy Pass, wow what an incredible experience!

Wonderful and memorable.

Mossie’s B&B is charming, as are its hosts, Vanessa and Matti. The property has beautiful gardens with a distant view of the sea. The house is immaculate and they provide wonderful amenities. Breakfast was delicious. It was by far our favorite place that we stayed at during our recent holiday in Ireland. We highly recommend it!

Mossie‘s is just a beautiful place the spectacular nature. The room was very clean and cosy as well as the common area with a great chimney room. The breakfast was very good too. We really loved to stay in the B&B and would definitely recommend it!

Stunning accomodation

Stunning rooms with period furniture in a house surrounded by an extraordinary quiet and green mature garden environment, Mattie and Vanessa have great sense of details, breakfast is ways above average with locally produced juicy bacon and sausages or fine vegan options, all served with homemade bread, muffins and yoghurt. The bar is raised very high.

Absolutely delightful hosts. Beautiful house and decor. Truly a luxury B&B. Excellent breakfast with homemade treats. A real getaway for peace seeking guests.

Very remote from everywhere - if you think it is a negative. No wifi in room (but comfy lounge did have it).

Mossie's is the best B and B we have ever stayed in - bar none. Matti and Vanessa are wonderful hosts, very kind and helpful and the house and grounds are just lovely. None of us wanted to leave! Breakfast is gorgeous - we would have been happy to stay forever. Location is perfect with stunning views - they deserve a 15 out of 10.

Perfect in every way

Mossies is a beautiful house with lovely views of the sea and gardens. Our room was spotless and comfortable. Breakfast was 5****** and the hosts very welcoming, you can tell they are very passionate about what they do. I would highly recommend a stay!
