Guter Platz zum Vorbereiten auf den Heimflug. Johannesburg ist ca. 1 Std. Fahrzeit entfernt.

Das Frühstück ist gut, die Möglichkeit mit kalten Speisen wie Joghurt, Obstsalat und Müsli, gebackenen Muffins oder Kuchen war gegeben. Außerdem das obligatorische südafrikanische Frühstück mit Eiern und Toast in verschiedenen Variationen wurde frisch zubereitet. Auf alle Fälle ausreichen und schmackhaft. Kaffekmaschine zur Selbstbedienung. Unterkunft etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber funktionell. Wir hatten sogar ein Studio mit Mikrowelle , Küche mit Kochplatte etwas Geschirr, Wasserkocher mit freiem Tee und Nescafeauswahl. Wurde immer nachgefüllt. Lage der Unterkunft super in einer protected Area, viele tolle Lokale fußläufig zu erreichen.Angebot vielseitig.Wlan hat gut funktioniert.

Wir hatten 2 Nächte in Pretoria bevor wir nach Deutschland zurück geflogen sind und wollten eigentlich an einem Tag eine Stadtrundfahrt in Pretoria machen aber dafür war diese Unterkunft nicht vorbereitet, d.h sie vermitteln keine Ausflugspakete da sie eigentlich nur für Geschäftsreisende eingestellt sind.

An exellent choice for the weary traveller

Comfortable bed, clean linen , spacious room fully kitted with kitchenette and mod cons. Central location and easy walk to eateries

Paradise between concrete

Staff was friendly and the room was emmaculate. Beautifull place to stay close to restaurants and shops and pubs should you need one. Love the big shower head. Slept like a baby. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Thank you will definitely visit you again.

Loved everything.. Great hosts and beautiful accomodation.

Well kept lodge in great location

Well kept lodge right in the middle of Hazelwood’s restaurant area. Great location. Spacious rooms.

The staff was friendly, the receptionist walked me to my room and I was taken for a tour

I was disappointed about the fact that I ordered my breakfast package the night before, however in the morning it was not ready as I was told that they never received my order. So I didn't get my value for money .

Exceptional

Room was very clean and comfortable with daily service, even on Sunday. Clean towels and toiletries daily. Nice breakfast.

The washing maschine in our room was taken out for repairs.

Clean, great staff but room 6 is veeery cold

The breakfast was great, the staff is amazing

the room was Veery cold, we couldn't sleep, the aircon was shuffling between heat and simple fan options, all in all the place was great except the cold

Firwood Lodge stay.

Room is spacious with a bar fridge, microwave, sink, a 2 plate stove, mugs, glasses, kettle, coffee and tea. Huge bathroom (big bath & shower). It is a few steps to restaurants and about 1,2km from the Afriforum Theatre. The breakfast was superb with a choice on the menu, fruits, yogurt, juices and pastry. Remote control gate access and on-site parking. We will stay there again.

I’m definitely coming back again soon

The room was spacious and bathroom really lovely. Breakfast was on point. Receptionist welcomed us nicely and suggested a perfect dinner spot as well as helped us call an Uber to SunBet Arena.

Enjoyed our stay at Firwood. The friendly staff, convenient location, hearty breakfasts, clean rooms.

The breakfast is great, and the location is perfect, close to Menlyn Mall, the University and of course all the amazing Hazelwood cafes! Friendly staff are always happy to assist, and the rooms are clean.

The hair dryer in the room did not work, however we were given one to use, which worked well.

Breakfast was average. Rooms big and clean, curtains and linen need attention.

We book for two nights. The first night we could not get any sleep as other guest were drinking and was loud. We complain but nothing happened. The next morning we booked out and ask for refund. It is now two week and have not received our money. Every time we phone they promise to deposit the money but nothing happen.

Thin curtains, noise from the club opposite, uncomfortable bed, wifi didn't reach the room, Supersport not working on the TV.

Room and bathroom very spacious, well equipped with large fridge, microwave, coffee, tea and rusks and small toiletries. Backup power kicked in quickly when loadshedding arrived.

Curtains not very effective to block bright nighttime lighting from outside. No bedside lighting, I moved the study lamp from the desk.

It was great and will visit again.

The location was perfect as we have family in the same street. We loved the coffee machine in the dining room. We enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely stay there again.

Unfortunately we had a few ants in the room and the shower had mould on the ceiling, however the room was very clean.

Major construction going on, lots of dust, not ideal for allergies.

The breakfast was very oily and the bacon was over cooked.

I could not shower; it was full of mould. the hairdryer did not work. Major construction going on, we should have been advised as this is not great for people with allergies. The bed was comfortable, and the linen was clean, however the cushions smelt very bad. There is way too many lights in the bathroom and bedroom and what is with all the plug points???
