The hotel is inside a former monastery and this in itself is rather impressive. The size of both the room and of the bathroom was good. Very nice, renovated breakfast area and good breakfast. Comfortable beds. Nice shower. Free parking.
Distance to central station in amersfoort or to the city centre is rather big for walking (in the region of 2.5 km), so we used taxi on several occasions (the taxi was about 11-12 Euros). The bathroom needed a fresh paint.

Beautiful building, garden and restaurant, nice environment
Paying 4,30 for water at the restaurant, you should mention that only the food is included.

Lovely rooms, spacious and great for kids
The set meal menu was lovely but not too suitable for kids due to the long waiting periods between the courses. A buffet option would be better but good value for money

The reception and staff were very friendly and did their best to provide their help with anything.
Breakfast was spot on, excellent buffet and great location. Very beautiful.
Tried both room types and they are spacious with great atmosphere and nothing negative to remark about them.
There were some renovations ongoing which at first I found unpleasant to discover this on arrival and not before. But the property is so amazing that I'll return anyway and get to see the renovated area then.

Place is beautifull and they have coffee machines everywhere so guests can easily serve themselves.
We traveled by bike and a bike rack was available in front entrance.
Breakfast table said there was also apple juice available, but staff said they didn't have it.
Pillow was too soft for me, but I usually don't find pillows that I like in hotels, so I'm used to it.

The hotel is very nicely located, the service is just great, dedicated young people! I truly enjoyed it. The rooms design is modern and clear

I liked the concept, I like to try new things. I liked the building itself. The attention of the professor was outstanding. The bed was comfortable.
I didn't like the room, it had everything to pass the night but it is not appealing just funtional.
I wouldn't recommend it to work, the chair was very uncomfortable to sit, I had to go to the reception tables to reply some emails. There was noise because they were moving some bottles, seems that there was an event. The breakfast had variety but it was not of my taste.

The place and staff.
The room wasn't warm enough. We love the hotel very much, but this time, the room was simply cold.

Very beautiful building. Love it. Room is beautiful and spacious, but a bit ‘spartan’: no closet to hang your clothes, just simple furniture. The bed is ok, but i think there could be a huge improvement with a higher quality box-spring version for more comfort. bathroom is nice and spacious too with good water pressure and hot water. The team was very friendly and even though this is partly run by students I thought it was pretty professional.
I found the restaurant a little bit less positive. In my opinion the dinner menu is a bit overpriced. The flavors could use a bit more subtle and complementary. Most dishes were quite sweet in my opinion (and i like sweet). i missed the combination of sweet with salty or sour. And maybe the team tried, but it didn’t work out yet.
The service should also be improved. I realize very well that this is run/done by students, but if the ‘teachers’ already don’t know the standard, then i wonder if the students will learn right. How do i know? Because we were the first ones to arrive in the restaurant and as there were no students yet, we were served by a senior person. He was very kind. but basic principles lacked. He got our drinks, but didn’t ask if we wanted to have (sparkling) water on the table next to the wine. But he also didn’t take those empty water glasses and the non-used wine glasses from the table, which is a basic thing to do in my opinion. And there were a few more of these small things.
And i can really recommend the breakfast. I think it’s very rich, with egg, bacon, different breads, pastries, yoghurt, fruits, fruit juices etc etc.

Hi service level
I would prefer fried eggs and bacon

Tidy large room with a nice small balcony. The hotel staff and students were delightful though a bit slow at times. We particularly enjoyed our dinner and breakfast also served by students. A calm environment overall. Storage room for bicycles was provided.
Location is a bit off and there isn't much to see around the hotel. Walking to town is feasible though we came by bikes.

Students did an excellent job. Friendly and service oriented.
Due to lockdown the restaurant was about to close, but they arranged for dinner in the room.
Beautiful building.
The room was clean, but they should maintain the carpet and the seats better. There were stains that can be removed with a good stain remover. So the room would look even better.
