incredible location, living in a cave but very comfortable; very close to the restaurant also in a cave, silent, close to the nature

Perfect little cave-like dwelling, spotlessly clean, with everything we needed for a one night stay before starting our point to point trek across Gran Canaria. Next door to Tagoror cave restaurant which was atmospheric and had good authentic food. Fantastic starry night sky on our arrival. The Barranca de Guayadeque is also a stunning, lush canyon for walking along, didn’t see another person for 3 hours at least on our way up to Pico de las Nievas, the highest peak on the island.

Considering the remote location, the facilities exceeded my expectations. The furniture of the apartment was made of real oak, kitchenette was comfortable (though was missing a kettle to boil water), the bathroom comfortable with good hot water supply. Temperature in the apartment was perfect for me :)
I suggest to eat in the Restaurant. Food was decently priced and good. Staff were super friendly to me as well :)
Some noises during the night from water pump I think and from other apartments

The location is amazing!

Amazing unique area, beautiful cave apartment, nice outdoor area.
Would have been nice to have some complimentary tea/coffee in apartment

The views were outstanding. There was easy access to hiking trails. Check in staff was friendly. There was no hassle checking in or checking out. Location was grea
The booking specified toiletries were included. There were 4 small packets of body wash for four adults. No hand soap, no shampoo, no conditioner. The double bed was very uncomfortable. I understood it was going to be a sofa bed and it was but not of a quality to hold two adults, since the bedroom had two separate single beds kids would have used that room and the parents would have slept on the sofa bed. Only one bottle of water was provided. The room needs to have filtered/potable water in the sink if water will not be provided. We had not even vacated the premises (we still had time left before check out) and staff showed up to occupy the balcony area to discuss repairs without even introducing themselves and asking if we minded, not very considerate.

Above all, we liked the location at the starting point for a beautiful trek through the Guayadeque canyon, probably our most beautiful in Gran Canaria. The place has a nice atmosphere, although the caves look pretty artificial up close. Beautiful views and seating on the terrace.
Their restaurant need a climatisation. It was so fish-smelly we had no desire to come for a dinner.

Amazing cave house with beautiful views.

Nice mountain location, friendly staff (in the restaurant).
Room was very moist and cold while it was raining outside. Combi-heater/dehumidifier was super loud, and it stopped heating after 5 minutes. Ended up freezing/sweating all night. It was an authentic cave-like experience, although not so pleasant one.
Check-in is actually done in the restaurant Tagoror, would have been nice to know that in advance.

The location of the accommodation is superb. It is in a beautiful valley, which looks astonishing. But that is the only positive part of this hotel.
The rooms were untidy and they smelled really bad. Really really bad. It is really expensive compared to what other accommodations provide as a service on the island. Staying here felt like a scam. Perhaps they don't have to try hard as the location is astonishing and there is not any competition around. The worst part was that a very loud machine started to make some terrible noise in every 5-10 minutes (like a water pump perhaps?) during the whole night, so it was impossible to sleep. Also, we tried to leave 9am in the morning - which is not that early - but nobody was there to gave the keys, the whole thing was closed, so we needed to wait. The wifi is also very poor, but that is kind of expected in such a rural area.

The apartment was absolutely lovely! Not to big,not to small
The water is not potable but it's everywhere on the island

Very special place to spend a night. Nice house built into the rock. Beds were good and house was clean. View is magnificent.
There is a kitchen but some standard things as oil, sugar, salt or tea would have been welcome. Also the reception (part of adjourning restaurant) was very rushed and not really friendly.
4.5
La tranquilidad del lugar. The tranquility of the place.
No permitir llevar mascotas pequeñas. Do not allow small pets.
