Bahia at LaRomana was half the price as Punta Cana and equally. Ice on many levels.

The grounds were beautiful and although not huge very nice for walks. Liked the idea of two wonderful pools one for louder fun activities and one for those looking for quiet relaxation with both serving good drinks. The beach and water is not “pristine” but still very nice with warm water, modest waves, clean sand, many shady palms and ample lounge chairs at pools and beach.

One cannot compare this beach at LaRomana to the Bavaro beach at Punta Cana but it’s still a nice beach.

The staff was excellent. Entertainment was very good. All the waiters and waitresses were phenomenal.

Our first room was hot ac not working but we were switched and that room was better.

Staff very friendly and allways tried to make us feel good going out of their way to provide us what we needed.

don't have the same drinks in all the bars, sometimes the staff had to borrow from another bar. Mattresses should be more confortable.

Very muddy and there were these insane cane flies everywhere.

Honestly, the music was so low barely audible. The beach had these gross flies by the masses that made staying at the beach impossible.

The food is delicious with a great variety of restaurant options, and the staff are amazing. Fun programs to join throughout the day and night!

Our stay was good, excellent place (the hotel), food, specials restarurantes and the crew. Not good the beach and water.

It was excellent the building, food, crew in special to Juan of animation team. He was deferential and friendly, very good!

The beach! For the people that love the beach it was not good. The water is mixed with the river near to the hotel. The photo that appear in the web is not the beach of the hotel. It’s unfair for the customers.

Communication is the key

Very good WiFi coverage. Clean and spacious room . Variety of food and drinks. Friendly personnel.

1. They didn't respond to messages on Booking.com . The PR Manager / Communication Manager should revise this internal policy, if there is such policy in place. People need advice and guidance. I wrote to them 4 messages. They never replied ( I wonder if they will respond to this review). 2. Online payment was done through a link sent by their third party that never sent the bill voucher back. They only acknowledged the payment received. And the Receptionist was not able to give me a payment extrass, saying that I should write to the Company who handled the online payment. 3.Airport Transfer, it's a problem if you land at La Isabela Santo Domingo Airport. They don't have this service on their Transfer page. So, you have to manage by yourself your way to the Resort. 4. Although the bedsheets were changed everyday, they looked outdated and shabby . They need to recycle it more often.

property is gorgeous. everything you may need is all on the property, staff was excellent, service was excellent. we had one hick up with our room and they sort it out really fast. other than that everything else was excellent

mildue smell in room was not pleasant. gave me headaches but they changed us to a different room and that room was better

the hotel amenities great great, booking was easy and making restaurant reservations in the website ahead of time was great

Seriously.. Just Book it. Cant beat the value

Most of the staff really try to accommodate your needs as best possible. The food is seriously delicious, and the drinks are not bottom shelf like alot of other resorts (not top self unless requested at an additional cost, but mid level liquor is standard) The premium meals are a treat, both the steak and lobster choices are some of the best you can get. You immediately see the value asoon as you arrive on the beautifully kept grounds

Reservation for A la Carte restaurants can get a bit messy due to lack of communication between reception (front desk), the actual restaurant and me the guest. The pants restriction for the a la Carte restaurants is a joke, especially if you will let someone in with athletic joggers/ sweat pants but not a formal shorts outfit. I appreciate the servers at the restaurant accommodating me and picking up the slack that the front desk left. I also had a tough time getting the discounts I was entitled to as a silver member of there loyalty program. It took way more then little effort to make sure i got all the perks I earned 4 different people and several calls to corporate and i was finally rewarded with getting what was promised

Disappointing and still waiting for reimbursement .

statues pretty exterior

lacking in customer service. Sea is like a lake and we were but by flies. i booked an ocean view room, does not exist on this property. 2nd room had broken air conditioning. very mediocre drinks and food. Dominican music going constantly at pool, not relaxing. checked out 3 days early still no reimbursement and rebooked w/ Booking in Punta Cana. still no resolution.
