It was very nice plce with great location. But unfortunately there was someone screeming very loud then crying. Then someone knocked our door nicely but though we did not open to him. We did not know if that guy was drunk or a an insane or he got bad news but anyway that was very bad at 11:00 pm and there is no staffs at the hotel :( My wife got afraid alot. I will never go there again

Location very good for the station and Ilmenau town. Well decorated - the owner is probably very artistic, but I never met her. Key safe system worked fine and the instructions were clear, although mainly in German.

Felt a bit like being a student again. I think there needs to be a better system to get people to discard their decaying food! Locking my room for security when going to the loo or shower as I didn't know who (if anybody) was in the building. There were often other residents making noise after midnight or rising early.

space, sofas, kitchen, facilities

Guys sitting outside (from nighbor gest rooms) were not so comforting for family. Internet was ok but not so fast (I guess below 6 Mbps)
