There was only a little fan to keep the room cold. There was no "Do not disturb"-sign, so the cleaners just entered the room without knocking.

Good place to stay in Kongsvinger

Easy check-in. Coffee and microwave facilities as well as communal living room area. Cozy spacious room and comfortable bed.

There are not that many options in Kongsvinger and Budget hotel is probably the best.

A nice, simple hotel. I liked the smart system - no waiting at the reception for check in and out, you just get a code. The room was simple, but big enough and clean.

The location is not convenient if you don't travel by car - little bit outside the city. The equipment is rather basic and getting old, bathroom was quite cold.

Great value for money, ideal for the airport

We booked a family room and we’re not disappointed. The room was huge with comfortable seating too, we were a family of 4 even and though our kids are young adults, there was so much space for us. The hotel is an ideal location for travelling to and from Oslo airport if you have an awkward flight time.

An exceptional hotel and owners!

Although the hotel is unmanned it is run efficiently and there were no issues with accessing additional towels or toileteries. The hotel is spotless in all areas and the self service refreshment hub was much appreciated. Unfortunately we arrived feeling unwell and tested covid positive. The owners were approachable, helpful and made what was a difficult situation much easier. Their generosity, communication, advice and support was wonderful and we will remember our stay with great positivity.

Very good hotel for the price. It's nothing special, but it's clean, comfortable enough, and very convenient, especially the entry using a key code, so you can arrive at time.

Ideal for one or two nights with very good price ratio close to Oslo.

Non-complicated booking and late night arrival. Clean and modern rooms. Free coffee / tea bar and free parking in front of the house.

The hotel is located in a quiet area. The room we had, was clean, comfortable, spacious, with comfortable beds. In the hotel there is a room where you can take, if you need, such as hair dryer, extra towel, iron, shampoo, etc.

it's pity that the hotel doesn't serve breakfast anymore.

All you need for a quick overnight stay

Comfortable bed - quiet location - plenty of parking - simple but fine accommodation when travelling

Shower is quite small - my room over looks the tyre bay behind

Handy hotel with good facilities

The room was spacious and the bathroom was fine. The shared kitchen and lounge was very handy. we warmed/cooked our evening meal there and that worked out well.

It is located outside the village. The system for self check-in is in principle good but we got a room with a not so desirable view and since there were no personnel available, we were stuck with it. There were only a handful of guests and you’d think they would place everyone in a room that they consider the best available.
