I don't recall the breakfast but believe it was perfectly acceptable. Value was the main feature for me. It was very economical considering it had everything required. I always appreciate bulk water, which they had, compared to single-use bottle.
Very low motorbike rental rate as well. The owner was very knowledgeable and helpful in all respects, especially after having an accident.
Room was small but still very convenient and definitely worth the cost.

Spacious rooms and kind hosts! We stayed for a night 2 separate times after long travel days and found the place very comfortable and centrally located to the ferry to other islands.
Outside of the stay, we tried the driver tour of the chocolate hills/tarsiers and didn’t love it or the driver. I think being crystal clear about the itinerary would help other guests decide if it’s the right tour for them.

Alan was fabulous. He was very accommodation, offering to assist with booking tours, van driver or tuk-tuk. Very approachable and easily contacted as lives in downstairs apartment. Answered all my queries about nearby services. We booked his tuk-tuk driver and it was comforting to know that we had a reliable driver as some of the drivers located at the mall were a little unnerving as it felt like they were wanting to take advantage of 2 naive female travelers. The price of tours or drivers were similar to those offered on the street or tour agencies.
The breakfast was scrumo. A bargain and great value for money. Omelet, hash brown, toast and fruit.
The room was a good size. We had very comfortable beds. The air-conditioning worked perfectly. The shower had plenty of hot water and good pressure. A big TV with Netflix.
Window with a view of the street. There were about dozen stairs to our room. The Guest House was located on a quiet street.
The restaurants recommended by Alan were within walking distance and delicious.
I highly recommend staying here. Best bang for your buck. If you are looking for good quality budget accommodation, then I'd recommend it.

The owner was very nice and informative. The room was spacious, the bathroom as well. We had a balcony in the room (sadly they were just constructing a house nextdoor but that's not their fault). The place is close to the center of town but in a quiet area. There are some really good restaurants walking distance (recommend Jose Tagbilaran for local food, delicious and not expensive at all). We were able to rent a scooter from the owner for a very good price per day so we took it for 3 full days.
Nothing to be honest. Everything was good. The aircon was maybe a bit noisy, but most of the aircons in the Philippines are like that so you get used to it. We were both very happy with our stay at Gomez Guest House!

The property is very clean, the host is very nice and accommodating. We arrived late and they were very patient with us and gave us a warm welcome! They also helped us find an affordable tricycle to bring us to Danao adventure park! The property is near tagbilaran port and near malls! Very recommended to all travelers!!

The place was very clean, the family that owns this was super helpful and friendly. You can also have breakfast there which was really delicious! We loved our room! It had everything. We had a little balcony too.
A room is a bit small but unless you're staying longer it isn't an issue.

The owner (Alan) is great. He made sure everything is okay. You can rent a scooter, too. He even gave me a free scooter ride to the ferry as I head back to Cebu. AC in the room. water heater for shower. Comfortable bed. Kitchen has all the basic items (plates, utensils, cups, glasses, etc) you need to cook or heat up your meal. Drinking water is also provided free.
The humidity (heat) in the living room and kitchen can get overwhelming if you just stay inside the house.

Alan was an incredible host, he was always super friendly, he helped us a lot at all times. He offered us many recommendations, and he helped us with everything we asked for. The room is excellent, super comfortable and clean. The bathroom has a shower with curtains and hot water! (which is a big luxury in the Philippines). Many thanks for everything!
All was perfect!

The owner was so kind to us, even staying up past midnight to welcome us when our ferry was delayed. The guesthouse is in a very convenient location near the port. Everything was extremely clean and tidy with good aircon and wifi. The bed was very comfortable and we even had a nice balcony. The breakfast was great and very affordable, and the owner provided a suggestion for a very good restaurant for dinner. We rented a scooter from the guesthouse and used it to see Bohol!

A friendly and accomodating host and the size of the bungalow was adequate as were the kitchen and bathroom facilities.
Very noisy from adjoining rooms, outside noise from cats, dogs, chickens people, traffic and a very noisy air conditioner. In the bedrooms there was a problem with mosquitoes and ants and I was bitten many times some very nasty.
