I absolutely recommend A Casa di Milena for a stay in Catania!

The apartment was absolutely clean and very well appointed. The location is great, only 5 minutes walking to the city center and 12 minutes to the bus station. Melinda is a great host. The communication was super fast and easy and she had a lot recommondations for restaurants and activities.

Don't expect a great view from the windows. ;)

- localisation, very close to the city center - air conditioning - recommendations of nice places in Catania

-broken child bed -lack of windows, very dark apartment -guests are supposed to dispose waste (almost every day different type) -lack of balcony althought a balcony is mentioned in the offer -no elevator, smell in the staircase -all rooms are connected, there is no seperate room/bedroom; the second bedroom upstairs (entresol) is unlivible because of lack of air conditioning and its localisation under the ceiling. The first bedroom has small and uncomfortable bed. Unfortunately we didn't enjoy the stay in the apartment both because of the conditions and bad experience with the owners. I never give negative opinions but this time Im forced to do so. The child bed for our 9months old baby has been broken, we've informed about this the owners but they said that Nb before us has complained about the bed and they didnt do anything about it (they sent us a tutorial on YouTube...) although it was broken (first they had problems with unfolding it and then durinf the night, when our child was sleeping there, it folded up itself). Generally I've got a feeling that they expect more from their guests (regular disposal of garbage, exact time od arrival - even if you're in the middle of your trip) than from themselves althought its them who get paid. Sad and stressful experience.

Red light district is just north across the street. Shady looking people asking for money will approach and try to intimidate.

Nice host

Milena, our host, was so kind to leave us to check out after the check out hours. We asked for this because our flight was in the evening.

There weren't enough daylight in the apartment.

Exceptional

The best feature of this apartment is the owners! They genuinely care about your satisfaction. These are people that understand that they are in the hospitality business. All of their recommendations were exceptional. The location is halfway between the train station and the major attractions... perfect. This is a great value and I look forward to staying here again.

responsive staff, I would come here again

very comfortable and communicative place, extremely nice and quiet place . the hosts were extremely kind and kind . our flight was late in the evening and they offered us to stay as long as necessary without worrying about the time of departure .

Very good

Nice aparment close to city center. It was super clean and Milena with Edoardo were very nice to us, helped us with tips around. There is equiped kitchen, AC and two bathrooms for each rooms. Super market, shops and center is 5minutes walk only to the beach you need to travel more.

It is not a negative just to take in mind that two rooms are not fully separated, there is just stairs without door between rooms so you can hear them.

Location. Air conditioner. Breakfast. Clean house. Check-in late with no issue.

No toaster. No microwave. No double pair of keys. No wardrobe. Small showers. No washing machine. No extra sheets. Checkout mandatory at 10am.
