The place is really nice. I actually liked it. Close to the main street and all…
My only problem was that I was freezing to death. I couldn’t sleep because it was too cold at night. It would be nice if they had little electric heater fans.

Decent and comfortable accommodation. Room and communal bathrooms are clean.
Room was very very small although I am unsure if this is the same size for all single rooms or just mine in particular. This is fine for a 2 night stay but would be extremely stifling beyond that.

The staff are very friendly and incredibly accommodating! The location is amazing, close to everything. The property is very peaceful, with a well-lit dining room, a working space, a stocked kitchen, and excellent wifi! Very clean. Would definitely stay here again!
There was a rare city-wide wifi outage (not the accommodation's fault!) but the staff lent me his personal wifi so I could work---incredibly helpful!

Nice staff and good location
No air conditioning or fans in the room, during the day the room is like a sauna

Staff was very helpful. They booked a transfer for me towards the airport.
Nothing right now

Good location.
Very clean.
There was no trash can in the room, which became a bot frustrating.
The room did not look at all like the pictures on Booking.com.
It would have been nice to know the size of the bathroom that all the guests at the hostel would share.

showers too far from the rooms. bathrooms frequently without toilet paper or soap.
that is way overpriced compared with other places.

The hostal itself was really beautiful and is very centrically located and pretty quiet. Its location made me feel pretty safe--it's very close to the main road and the street is well lit. The shared bathrooms were cleaned at least once a day which was good as well considering Covid. The staff was very friendly and always willing to help. In addition, it gets cold at night in San Pedro and although there was no heat, the bed did have 3 very warm blankets and it was enough for me (someone who feels cold all the time). Lastly, the shared showers are pretty nice. There are two for women, and I imagine 2 for men. They have doors on them so you have privacy and a place to hang your clothes. Also, there is hot water.
The things I didn't like were minor... there was no trash can in the room. Also the room was very small. For me it was okay, but for someone else they might expect a larger room. There were no paper towels in the shared bathrooms so drying your hands was basically impossible unless you brought your own towel with you every time you went to the bathroom. At check-in, it wasn't explained that they close the gate in the evening and to get in, you have to ring the door bell. You figure it out, but it would be nice to get the heads up before you are in the situation. Lastly, when I was paying, I was told that their credit card machine was broken and I either needed to pay in cash or via bank transfer. I imagine this might be quite inconvenient for some people, so I thought it might be good to mention it. Overall I would consider this a nice place and a good experience.

Location, breakfast and decoration
Workers and cold water for the early shower in the morning

The facility is well-maintained. I had a small room, which was fine, but there were (more expensive) rooms in the back portion of the premises that were nice. The breakfast is excellent. There are clean bathrooms and sheets. They can help organize tours for you, if needed.
No towels for the budget rooms. I wasn't shown all that was available; I needed to ask about all of that. It's easier when the staff simply gives you a quick tour and gives you reminders. They should remind us that breakfast isn't included and that it should be paid for (with the budget rooms).
