Excellet!

I liked the room, the personal, also the view and the places around. The owner makes you feels like a VIP guest and shows great respect to all guests there. The food was nice and really close to the bolata beach golf. I recommend this place to all who wants great time and pleasant experience.

Exceptional host running a comfortable guest house

The host was great. Picked us up from a beach and gave us a ride back too for no charge, he organised a pizza delivery for us and told us a lot about the region in perfect English. The room was very big, clean, with a comfortable bed and all amenities and the guest house has a very friendly vibe as it's a family-run business. I definitely recommend.

Rooms are big and clean. The bathroom is quite big for a hotel. The pool is a nice addition because the beaches in the immediate area are not something to write home about.

Idyllic holiday that will always remain in our hearts

Great hotel with a unique atmosphere and climate around. Perfect location to explore many different beaches, accessible in 5 to 15 minutes (Rusalka and Adora are most picturesque, but don’t forget to visit Kamen Bryag to see the rocks in the sunset). swimming pool available non-stop. If you are tired with exploring, you can just sit on the balcony, feel the unpolluted air and listen to the nature. A host takes care about everything personally, gives recommendations, is open to chat but in very sensitive, not intrusive way. The breakfasts are delicious, many fresh products directly from the local community. In the Garden you can find sunbeds, coffee tables and grill. If you look for the family hotel, Golden Flake is the one. The amazing thing is that such small village has so many restaurants, open even till midnight. The Old Hut (10 minutes walking) is the first to visit (fish soup and salted bread is the must). It is cheap and tasty. We had really idyllic stay. It was worth to drive 2000 kilometers to this place. We will come back for sure.

We loved our holiday at Golden Flake Guesthouse. It was nice and comfortable. Peter, the owner and his wife were exceptionally kind, gave recommendations what to visit, we felt like we are at home. We highly recommend this lovely place!!!

The host is very nice, he make the place to deserve a 10. Breakfast is great and the quit of the place when taking the coffee in the garden make you enjoy early mornings in holiday :)

All good, there are things need it improvement but could be unnoticed.

Grateful for a memorable stay!

We loved it here! We owe much of how beautiful our stay was to the amazing hosts, they recommended us the best places to go to and they were always very considerate of our needs! You can feel that they are very passionate about making their guests feel welcomed and they are sincerely friendly and open, the atmosphere is very warm at the property and we’ll definitely come back!

If you consider coming here (and you should, if you plan to stay in the surrounding area), know this: Is there room for improvement at the property? Yes. However, the overall experience makes for a clean 10!

We enjoyed very much our weekend at Golden Flake. The place is cozy and peaceful. Excelent breakfast, big, clean rooms with balconies. The host is an excellent guide, recommended to us the best beaches and places to visit. We also tried good local food and restaurants. So we liked the atmosphere and the place so much, and we are coming back in 2 weeks with our friends. I can't wait!

Everything was great. Breakfast was amazing!! So many options. We mentioned we were vegetarians and the owner made sure there were a lot of options for us. The owner Petar is very open and pay attention to all details. He has gave us some good recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. Very good place to stay and relax.

A great location and a good value for money

This location is the perfect place for you it you are interested in a good location that offers peace and quiet, all the amenities you may need for a good stay. Also, the host is an extremely helpful person, he made us feel like home during our weekend stay. We will definitely come back also because Agora, Rusalka and Bolata beaches are really close to this location (15 min drive) and these are really spectacular Bulgarian beaches. Good breakfast, quiet location, a very good night sleep overall.
