Chambre spacieuse, très confortable et au calme. Belle vue de la chambre. Excellent restaurant à côté de l'hôtel.
Place de parking face à la chambre.
Rien à signaler!

A spacious comfortable place in a quiet location with lovely view of the lake from the room. Also very close to Briars Inn for a meal saves driving out for one

It was disappointing to find hairs in the bath when we arrived (which we mentioned to Reception who said they would talk to the cleaning staff). Also the shower was over the bath - not walk in, as we were expecting, which made it difficult for my wife. Whilst there was crockery and cutlery available (which we used for breakfast and coffees),there was no inbuilt sink - only a plastic bowl to wash them in - rather inconvenient in this day and age.
Otherwise the room was ok and the king size bed was comfortable.
We have stayed here several times over the past 20 years or so, but it seems that the rooms need some updating.

ALMOST NOTHING!
Breakfast at the Lodge was OK, BUT, the meals at the adjoining restaurant were fantastic, wine was reasonably priced and the food was very good!
Television did not work until I went to reception for new batteries in remote, toilet did not flush and had to leave cover off cistern to make it work manually, filthy behind the front door when cleaners prop door open hiding dirt behind.
Bed was comfortable.

The room was great and our location was nice. Didn't have breakfast as felt it finished too early.

Really good location and very peaceful. Grounds and surrounds are awesome. Closeness to the pub for food and beverages is also great. Value for money was also very reasonable.
Bed was ok but could have been a bit better but other than that it was great.

Comfortable beds, friendly staff
Very old, run down, 3 bedroom cottage. Cobwebs and filthy windows, mould around bathtub. Views were of air-conditioner units and a building. Verandah was uninviting with nothing to look at and enclosed. Dark and dingy

I love the Briars! always have! special!
Breakfast now is Self serve, that’s great but I would have preferred a freshly made cappuccino than a sleeve of powdered Nescafé!!

Lovely warm cosy rooms. Parking at your door. Easy check in and out. Great Pub on premises also.
Have stayed at Briars many times, however rooms are looking tired, carpet old and worn. Rooms in need of an upgrade.

Walking around the extensive grounds and around the lake was refreshing after our long drive.
There was a mouldy odour in the room. I didn’t like having an interconnecting room as I could hear conversations and their TV.

The rooms are well thought out. The beds are very comfortable. Lovely outlook. Close to the Briars Pub for meals. Very pleasantly surprised at how very good the property is.
The walls are a little thin. There was a family next door, and we could hear the kids yelling.
And yet the property is close to the pub, and there was no noise to be heard.
