Would stay again. Good value for money incl breakfast.

Good location in Penola. Clean rooms, fully renovated recently, comfortable queen size bed, large bathroom & shower in room 5. Continental breakfast included was ideal, cereal, toast & OJ. Plus filter coffee. Ideal start to the day. Nearby to Royal Hotel for a good meal & local wine list.

Digital TV only got 1 station. Very hit & miss on coverage.

Perfectly situated in the township of penola, a short stroll to the royal oak for a delish dinner and right next door to the supermarket and great cafes. Clean and very comfortable, well provisioned with a small kitchenette.will be back soon

Location was in town and close to all amenities and wineries. It was also very peaceful. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast provided was adequate. Staff were very friendly.

Perfect. Would definitely recommend.

So lovely of the owner offering to drop us down the street since we were late to our event. Amazing large room, super comfy bed, well laid out. Great to have a pod coffee machine.

The cold butter that wouldn't spread on my toast in the morning since it was stored in the fridge (sorry dismal complaint, but I don't have any significant complaints lol!).

Excellent base for an exploration of the Penola-Coonawarra wine region.

The room was large and well furnished, living up to the title of suite. The continental breakfast in the room was very good: generous supply and leaving us in control of what and when to eat. We would have been happy to use this as a base for a longer stay.

No problems in a short stay.

It's a great place to stay, clean and comfy. Central to all the wineries.

From the moment we arrived, staff were friendly and very helpful. They even booked that nights dinner for us at the local pub. The room was comfortable. Everything was very clean. All the material they kept in the room was also very helpful.

We could have stayed longer. Everything met our needs. I am not sure I could / would change much.

A great place to stay in Penola.

This motel is a little gem. The room we had was spacious and there was lots of bench space in the bathroom. The location is great, its a short walk from the main street with its charming shops, cafes, hotel and the very special Pipers Restaurant. There is an IGA supermarket right next door too. The breakfast provisions were great and the bed was comfy. The staff were very friendly. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Penola.

Stayed there several times. Reliably excellent.

We've stayed there several times now and it is always just great value. Spacious, clean, friendly. Just a really nice experience.

The staff were very helpful. The gardens were beautifully maintained,the rooms too ,with all little luxuries incl ground coffee . I would certainly stay there again & recommend it to friends.
