Ein hervorragender Gastgeber

Das B&B bietet den Komfort eines 4-Sterne-Hotels und als Gast wird man zusätzlich individuell behandelt und familiär aufgenommen. Beim Frühstück bleibt kein Wunsch unerfüllt. Der Gastgeber gibt Tipps für Ausflüge und Besichtigungen.

We had a lovely break and enjoyed our walks on both days

Breakfast was lovely both mornings. BB just a short walk from the harbour

Obviously en-suite would have been preferable but Robert did advise us in advance. The private bathroom was lovely fresh and clean and shower was amazing. Husband loved sea kelp moisturiser

A fantastic holiday location that exceeded all expectations.

The breakfast was superb, plenty of choice and tailor-made to individual styles and tastes. It was superbly cooked and presented every morning to an exceptionally high standard. The hospitality and friendliness was also really good and both hosts were very good at local advice and giving hints and tips for places to visit both locally and in the wider region of Scotland. The room and facilities were kept and maintained to very high standards, and were warm, dry and very clean. The back garden was also very well maintained and was very quiet and peaceful. A truly exceptional to visit stop.

Nothing, their attention to detail was excellent and cannot be faulted.

Sehr empfehlenswert !

Komfortable, saubere, gut ausgestattete Unterkunft. Sogar ein eigener Spielraum ist vorhanden mit Pool, Darts zur freien Verfügung. Ruhig gelegen etwas abseits vom geschäftigen Hafenpier, welcher aber in 5 min. Fussmarsch zu erreichen ist. Sehr freundlicher Gastgeber, der uns auch gute Tipps für Essen und Wanderungen abgab. (Besonders zu empfehlen der Fife Coastal Trail ab Elie!).. Und nicht zu vergessen das prima schottische Frühstück! Was uns gefallen hat? Einfach alles !!

Superb

Excellent location, 2 minute walk from the beach/harbour front. Had a fabulous room with patio doors looking out to beautiful gardens. Spotlessly clean. Lovely breakfast in the morning with plenty of choice. Robert the owner friendly and chatty. Definitely recommend.

Great B&B

This was our 4th visit and always get a warm welcome from Robert who is an excellent host. Accommodation is lovely, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is very good with plenty of choice. Great location. We will definitely be back.

Robert cooked myself and my wife a superb breakfast, and was also very helpful in suggesting restaurant that was good in Anstruther.

Excellent B&B, great location

The accommodation was excellent, very clean, the room was warm, comfortable bed and nice clean linen and towels. Property owners were very welcoming. The B&B was very close to the local restaurants and pubs.

Absolutely superb!

This really is a beautiful property and combines traditional features with modern styling brilliantly. Robert was also a very cordial host and made sure we were well looked after, couldn't ask for more! And finally the breakfast was absolutely superb, real quality ingredients cooked to perfection!

Nothing really, I did think that it was a little bit expensive for a b&b but that being said we did book just a few days before and we did have an excellent stay

A great stay thanks to excellent hosts

Robert and Catriona were excellent hosts and couldn't have done more to make our stay comfortable. Room and bathroom were both comfortable and contemporary, yet the house communal areas still retains some of it's 19th century character. Games room and honesty boxes were also a great addition to our stay.

We had an enjoyable 3-day stay with Robert and Catriona and will certainly be booking for next year.

Robert and Catriona offered a variety of choices for breakfast. We opted for the full Scottish cooked breakfast which was made up of locally sourced produce. Robert and Catriona were friendly and offered places of interest to visit and local walks around the East Neuk.

There is nothing to comment here.

Beautiful garden and stay in a great area.

Beautiful property and gardens, in a good location. We had the garden room, opening onto the beautiful garden. We had a lovely breakfast on the patio. Robert was very helpful and friendly, suggesting things to do and where to eat locally.

Definitely a “home away from home” feeling at The Brackness House.

This was a lovely property with beautiful gardens and comfortable amenities but what really set this stay apart from other B&B stays was the warm East Neuk of Fife hospitality provided by the hosts, Robert & Catriona. We instantly felt welcomed and the small touches were abundant. Robert was a wealth of local knowledge and when we had a small problem with our car he was there to fix it. We would whole heartedly recommend Brackens House

No improvements necessary.

Superb - no more words needed!

This was a fantastic location for us to base ourselves while walking a section of the Fife Coastal Path. The house is extremely comfortable, our room and en-suite was absolutely superb and we felt right at home. Robert is a fantastic host who made us feel very welcome and looked after and fed us very well. His lovely breakfasts, which we were fortunate enough to eat outside in the beautiful sun trap garden, really set us up for a day of walking in this wonderful part of Scotland. We were only a few minutes walk from the harbour, restaurants, shops and bus stop so really handy for everything.

Honestly couldn’t find anything not to like here.
