It was fascinating and very comfortable. The host was very pleasant and helpful, even letting us in early.

The hotel was central and very quiet. We had a sitting room, bedroom with a comfortable bed and a modern bathroom. We took advantage of the convenient breakfast. The manager was friendly and helpful and provided us with a parking certificate which gave us free parking which was great. Just walk out the door, restaurants, shops, and fabulous views are right there.

The views are amazing, wonderful; opening the windows for the first time and seeing the landscape was an astonishing experience. The Hotel itself is very rustic and seems like it came out of a film. Even the furniture adds to that. I felt like living in the medieval era. The beds were very comfortable. And there were plenty of plugs available near them.
The shower was small, although this is understandable due to the size of the rooms. I much prefer a bigger room than a bigger shower.

The view from our window overlooking the countryside was beautiful.
wifi not available in our room, we had to go outside into the corridor.
The bed was harder than I prefer, and only one small pillow per person. I had to ask for another.
No kettle, cups or glasses provided.

Breakfast was a bit basic
Not the fault of the hotel, but only one restaurant was open, in the town, that evening. ( the meal at that place was actually very nice)

Very centrally situated in a 'plus beau village'. Very spacious rooms with fantastic views (as in photo). Amazing shower in one of the rooms with massage jets - perfect for a sore back. Proprietor was extremely helpful - offered to make dinner when we told him no restaurants were open. (And dinner was very good)
All fine

The view from the windows of the room was magnificent; the landscape was really as a fairy tale.. Next morning the room was tidy and clean. One more thing is that the bathroom is spacy enough.
WiFi was really poor at the room and at some other corners of the hotel; we suggest increasing the range via a wifi amplifier/extender

Great central location. Overall the hotel served its needs. It was clean and comfortable to sleep.
It felt a bit outdated. The toilet was in the little bedroom which was a bit strange.

Very relaxed atmosphere with friendly helpful staff. Stunning views from the room. Good simple French breakfast with excellent coffee.

Breakfast was served by the owner of the hotel. It was simple and delicious. Our room was a generous size with beautiful views of the countryside. We were glad we asked for an outward-facing room, as the weather was very hot and we could enjoy a gentle breeze through the windows.

Location good.
Room had no airconditioning and no ventilation. I stayed at the hotel at a time when the area was undergoing a heat wave.

The hotel is right in the middle of this amazing town. It was a great place for a one night stopover on a cycling trip. The receptionist ensured that our bikes were safe and arranged coffee for an early departure the following morning.

This beautiful old hotel is really central in the town - just opposite the square and close to shops and restaurants. Our room had a beautiful view. It is a bit of a climb as the town as at the top of the hill.

The location at the top of this Ancient Bastide town was perfect with wonderful views out to the surrounding countryside. We were given a placard which allowed us to park nearby for free. In November when many restaurants were closed on Tuesdays, the manager even offered to make supper for us.

The location of Hotel Raymond VII is fantastic, situated in the beautiful medieval village of Cordes-Sur-Ciel. Set in the centre of the village you step out into the cobbled streets lined with artisan shops. A day is not enough to explore Cordes-Sur-Ciel and the surrounding area of the Tarn Region (Medieval Villages, Albi, Gaillac, and bracing walks). We stayed for a week - and we could have easily stayed longer as we drifted into the relaxed ambiance of it all. The view from our bedroom window was nothing less than spectacular! On a number of occasions, we awoke above a carpet of mist in the valley below. Christophe, the owner was charming and helpful. The breakfast was simple but delicious, good quality, and more than enough to set us up for the day. We will return again some day.
Nothing.

The host was very kind and welcomed us although we arrived later than expected. He made us a very good breakfast. It was a very good start to our first day in France.

The bathrooms and bedding were spotless and cleaned every day.
Christophe the owner was very welcoming and extremely helpful as we had to ask for extra nights due to our car breaking down. Would recommend

Beautiful views over the valley from our room. Convenient spot for doing anything you wish within Cordes sur Ciel. On the main shopping street and close to all restaurants.
Parking involves driving through narrow streets as it does for all hotels there but you do get a parking free plaque from the hotel to use in all areas of town. We were able to park on the ramparts just beneath our hotel but you did need to be able to navigate carefully through some medieval arches etc.
