Angela was lovely, gave us great directions and local information and was very hospitable.
It was a wee bit far to walk to the restaurants in town in the dark.

It was a very nice little house with a stunning sea view. The owner even gave us a very delicious Sicily dessert when we arrived

we absolutely loved staying here - the villa is at the top of the hill at the end of the track so completely private with a cliff surrounding the rear and amazing views out to sea from the front. there is an incredible profusion of birds in the garden and if you are birdwatchers like us this is an incredible bonus! go straight down the hill and you reach a beauiful little cove beach - go left and you wak for 10 mins to the Zingaro nature reserve - go right and you reach Scopello for restaurants and bars. we didn't have a car and the owners very kindly gave us a lift to stock up at the shop 3kms away when we arrived. the villa is beautifully appointed with everything you need and extremely comfortable beds. Thank you we shall return!

the view is nothing short of spectacular. it’s private secluded and yet walking distance to a fabulous beach snd the zingaro preserve. Angela was an amazing host and welcomed us with Sicilian pastries and many good suggestions about the area. she went out of her way to help us with a car problem and was altogether the most gracious host. we all loved the house that is comfortable and very clean and fell in love with the patio and garden and the blue ocean in front. truly can’t wait to be back

Walking distance to the village of Scopello.
Short drive to local attractions.
Kitchen and bathroom/laundry were modern and well appointed.
Inadequate lounge seating: one two-seater sofa only. Not very comfortable space for spending a lot of time in.

We had a wonderful stay in Scopello. The house was just perfect for us, and our two children ages 8 and 4. The hosts were incredibly helpful and very reachable throughout the stay. We had a list of places to eat and visit, which we found very useful. Compared to most surrounding areas, Scopello has the best of nature and sea - without all of the tourists. Couldn't have been more happy with the overall experience!
Nothing, it really was an ideal location - in a very beautiful and natural area!

Top class location on a quiet hill above the pretty coastline of Northwest Sicily. The most fantastic place to spend your afternoons after sightseeing and before dinner in the vicinity.
The wi-if was patchy and the driveway will cause some to fear for their rental car deposit, with its steep angle down at the access point (especially when trash is blocking the slightly less steep side) and with a strip of tough and high weeds in the middle.

Loved the location as it had an amazing view and was also very private. Walking distance to Scopello and so close to the zingaro natural reserve too. The place was a perfect size and very comfortable as well as being very clean. The owners of the property were great to communicate with and were very welcoming. Would highly recommend!
It’s perfect!

The location: very close to the center of Scopello, close to The Zingaro Reserve, but also secluded enough to give a family of 5 ample privacy.
The house had all the needs for a short - long term stay.
Both Angela & Salvo were incredibly accommodating and kind with both myself & my family who stayed at the villa. They were super nice by giving me an opportunity to grab cash after I completely missed the memo that no cards were accepted.
The house is a culmination of hard work and passion for the area and it shows. We loved the place immensely- so much so that we extended a day!
It wasn’t the easiest location to find. To keep it simple,
it’s located on the street that takes you to the tower of scopello/the reserve - it’s not on the street that goes into the town’s center.
Also, be mindful that the entrance that leads up to the villa is tricky, I.e., narrow & steep. We had issues initially but then figured out how to enter the driveway. Even though it’s doable, I won’t recommend going there with a very low car. We had a BMW M3 and opted to park on the Main Street and walk up to the villa. Not a major issue at all, but for those who may be conservative drivers this can prove a little tricky. Again, according to the owners this is a piece of cake for others but we took extra caution by avoiding it altogether.

I rarely write reviews about places where I stay, but this case is special! I would like to express my deep gratitude to the owners of the villa. They are wonderful people. They welcomed us very cordially, showed us and told us everything about the house. They prepared delicious pastries for my children. I want to tell you about the house itself - it is wonderful. There were four of us and everyone was very comfortable. All the equipment is in good condition. Beautiful bathroom, beds, air conditioning. Very quiet and cozy place. In walking distance, close to the house there is a wonderful beach. We had a great time and were able to enjoy the beauty of the local nature! Thank you for a wonderful three days!

Our family (two adults, two kids) enjoyed the stay at Agave Scopello immensely. It provided us a great base to explore North West of Sicily (Palermo, Trapani, Erice, San Vito Lo Capo, Zingaro,...). Since the restaurants were closed during our stay due to the Covid pandemic we had to cook dinners in the apartment and it was very convenient that the kitchen is very well equipped. Sweets and oranges which were gifts by hosts were delicious!
There were some items which we could use in the kitchen (proper knife, wine glasses) which we mentioned to hosts and they seemed to be truly grateful for our suggestions so I believe they will fix that for the future visitors.
