Disappointed with the breakfast, simple is ok but repeat the same all the days is not fair and better dun give breakfast at all, service was good and staffs were pleasant but food below average

Compromised in quality , spoilt my holiday.

Very dissatisfied, noice of pumping and knocking non stop every few minutes. Couldn’t sleep whole night, reported to reception at 2am doesn’t hello Shower water inconsistent from 100% drop to 10% up and down while in the midst of watching my hair. Low standard hotel in term of value

Room is good. Food is below average. Service is excellent.

Location. Able to accommodate 4 in a family in a suite.

1. Confusing entrance to the carpark. Could not rely on google as it led us to the entrance but the carpark entrance is diferent and require a big loop. 2. Went to the cafe for lunch. It had lunch promo but ran out of chicken. We ordered fish and the fish was not cooked. Probably was from the freezer and not thawed completely. Promo drink was also not available. Pretty disappointing. 3. Having to validate touch and go card each time we exit is extremely inconvenient. Should just provide complimentary pass to exit.

I booked two bedroom suite over the weekend n the room is nice and toilet is clean too.

Pleasant 2 nights stay for those who drive and hardly in the hotel during day time.

One of the cleanest hotels we have stayed in JB. Spacious self-service laundry room that comes with two washers and dryers and ironing facilities. Fully equipped gym. Huge lobby. Friendly counter staff and fuss free check in.

Location wise - it’s within 10 mins walk to Persada JB. But quite far to walk from City Square and CIQ. Hence, more convenient for those who drive. There are no eateries or convenience stores located nearby. Areas for improvement- 1) Info on parking access via Jalan Khalid Abdullah behind the hotel could have been communicated clearly to guests. Better still if there are signs along the road to guide patrons. 2) More breakfast options will be great.

Overall it was a value for money hotel.

Both iron in the laundry room is not working, I am not able to iron my clothes at all. The aircon in the room gave out a musky smell thus leaving the air in the room smell stale.

Excellent stay

The rooms were clean, well maintained. Compact but includes all facilities. Bathrooms are small and clean. Best for budget stays.

Wall mounted tv is so close to bed. One might break tv if you don't observe. Housekeeping is very slow

Room was clean but small. Nice location, easy to get to. Area felt safe to be in.

There were no hand towels or wash cloths at the sink. The staff said at checkout that we had to ask for a hand towel, we had to use our bath towels. The thermostat on the wall did not light up, so I had to use my phone flashlight to see the numbers. The staff did not tell us that we should have come down to the desk to get the parking lot for our card. I still do not know how that works, but they did reimburse me for parking. To get to the parking lot you had to go out on the street and drive several blocks to get to the back of the hotel to enter. The breakfast was only traditional Malaysian food, the pan fried noodles were so spicy I could not eat them. I do not expect them to cater to only western food, but some would have been nice.

Friendly staff, but facilities in hotel need to be better maintained

Friendly and courteous staff. Breakfast buffet was good. Car park was safe and in protected area. Lobby area was large and spacious.

Our room aircon did not work well. Our room safe malfunctioned and despite the technicians coming to fix it, it still did not work. Our room was changed but this time, the shower rose and the rain shower could not be switched around, making it inconvenient to shower.

I am a frequent solo business traveler and I stayed in many hotels. Holiday Inn express JB gave me a very good impression. The hotel room design is superb and the whole feeling is very good. This could be the best JB hotel

Parking is limited. I am afraid that it is a full house, I expect parking could be a potential problem
