Clean room with comfortable bed and flat screen TV for under 50 GBP and en suite bathroom.

This is a functional hotel where you get good value for the room if you are looking for somewhere to put your head down for a nights sleep. It is surrounded by restaurants some of which are open till midnight.

There are very few things other than the location of this place to speak about. I cannot begin to explain how inaccurate the pictures and expectations are vs the reality of the room. Absolutely horrible!

Everything. There was an Indian lady in reception who was really rude and disrespectful. The Eastern European receptionist took us to see the ‘real’ room that we booked albeit in a sister hotel. Dirty filthy beds and incredibly bare room with nothing but old mouldy furniture. Honestly this place is sooooo bad for the price and the quality you’re better off going to a proper Airbnb

Random sprinkler showering you on bed is normal here.

Location was perfect, close proximity to The Royal Regency Banquet Hall. Local facilities and shops around Breakfast okay

We booked two rooms for the night to have a good sleep after a big party and getting to the hotel and being woken up at 2:45am after one hour of sleep by water from the sprinkler raining directly on the bed. Complaining to the staff at the reception we were met with a response of oh that is "normal ". Explaining that we can't sleep on the wet bed he said he will come and change our room.. we went back and started packing 3am in the morning and waited and waited for over 1 hour till we fell back asleep folding our legs sitting against the headboard out of tiredness. In the morning the receptionist was only able to say sorry for not even turning up as promised to access the situation or changed the room. His excuse was we were fully booked. Terrible customer experience. I have video recordings of this which I showed the staff. Secondly, none of the TVs has remote control. Bin in the toilet was rusty, no iron, no dryer and no fridge. None of the bedside lamp works

Lucky 8 hotels loction is superb. Tube station is just 1 min ahead.all the restaurant and daily need shops are nearby. Security is good. Stuff also very cooperative. Breakfast is so yummy. I thik this is a very good hotel.I highly recommend this hotel.

Same type breakfast everyday. We stayed this hotel 13 night so sometimes we board same eating same type breakfast daily. Should be change sometimes.

OK if you just want to put your head down but for anything else our room was very poor.

Close to rail links

Breakfast handed to us in a paper bag, no utensils. Room was poorly laid out, the bathroom door didn't open fully as the bed was in the way. This was meant to be a non smoking room yet the bathroom reeked of smoke and the extractor fan was greasy with smoke tar.

I threw a LUCKY 8 instead of a 6 !!!!

Liked the closeness / Access into the City and local shopping spree at the Westfield Centre (Stratford) was a mere few stops away for convenience.

Location was not the BEST, but hey it was Ilford, not Notting Hill...lol Mixed cosmopolitan community in the heart of London, that's the most that can be said about Location, Location!!! Lol 😆

Great functional hotel. It's no " ritz" but good .

Cheap. .. clean and great location. Good parking Easy to find Great desk staff when checking in .

Damaged and glued toilet seat room 11. Pillows thin as crispy pancakes. Night staff wasn't available for an hour when our hotel key stopped working and we couldn't get in our room at 12.30 am ... no breakfast there.....but it was over the road at another hotel that we could of had as they are owed by the same people.

Lucky 8 Hotel failed miserably!

I liked the hotel the previous time we stayed here. Therefore we booked again. Never felt so I welcomed by the staff before! There was nothing to like this time we stayed there over the weekend.

Everything! We booked the hotel over 2days period. We called earlier and informed them that we will be checking late. When we arrived they have given us a room away from the main hotel with no phone connection, poor internet connection and hairdryer in it. The next day Saturday we went to the reception before 11am and requested cleaning of the room, sweeteners as my partner is diabetic and for a hairdryer. The girl on the reception told that she is going to send someone and my partner left. I had office work and waited the whole day for room service and hairdryer. I called the reception but the girl said she don’t have time to speak, she doesn’t have hairdryer and to switch the phone on and off. For few times the reception didn’t picked up the phone calls as I had to call from my phone and didn’t turn up even after saying they will. The girl in the reception mentioned that she is trying to sell the other rooms so there goes the room change! I couldn’t operate my laptop the whole day and couldn’t contact anyone. My one days work was ruined because of the inefficient staff of Lucy 8 hotel. The hotel didn’t cleaned the room, didn’t provided clean towel, no toiletries, no sweetener or refreshment service, no phone and no Wi-fi connection. My question is for the OWNER of the hotel- IF YOU DONT HAVE ENOUGH LITERATE STAFF AND ENOUGH SUPPLY WHY WOULD YOU DO BUSINESS WHICH IS ENTIRELY DEPENDS ON CUSTOMER SERVICE??!!
