This was the perfect home for us to re-energise after several weeks on the go in Ireland and the UK. Our hosts Lara and Eugenia are beautiful people who went out of their way to make us feel welcome, both before and upon our arrival. The home-grown peaches they left for us were delicious, and the thoughtful gift that was left at our door on the morning of our departure was very touching. The house is ideal; spacious, with comfortable beds and we really loved the wonderful patio where we had all our meals (including a BBQ cooked over charcoal), dried our washing, relaxed and read. Corbins is an excellent location to get away from the bustle of the city but it is just a short drive away from Lleida. It is a quiet village where the locals are friendly. We had a wonderful time here and did not want to leave.

The hostess Eugenia was extremely welcoming, very kind and organised. The apartment is spacious and decorated nicely, including some Christmas decorations- a wonderful touch! It had most of the equipment and amenities that we needed. It was well heated (December in Lleida is chilly) and comfortable.
Corbíns is a 15 minute drive from Lleida, and not far from other nice towns and countryside spots. We enjoyed walks down to the river. The apartment is round the corner from a small bar and not far from some corner shops. There isn’t much else there, but that suited us fine!
The oven was difficult to use and seemed to either burn our food or undercook it. Also, the door fell off at one point. There was no kettle, so we had to boil water on the hob for tea. We book apartments so we don’t have to eat out with a fussy 4 yr old.
The shower was hot and good water pressure, but you had to hold it yourself.
There was just enough comfy seating for the three of us but the arrangement of the lounge area could be better. This wouldn’t be a problem in the spring as there is a lovely private terrace.
