We had a wonderful two night stay at this peaceful place. Definately a great hiding spot if you’re coming from a busy city. Villas had good amenities and service was friendly and helpful at all times - very easy to communicate through WhatsApp group. Very idyllic settings all round and you can spend hours in the villa or sunbathing by the beach.

We had a wonderful time alone in this little paradise. Nyen and her husband from Burma, who cooked for us wonderfully, are people with a big heart. They spoiled us! Saw also took great care of us and was always available for us. The place is unique - pure nature. We enjoyed it very much and let our souls dangle. The time and space allowed us to find peace. The social and sustainable background of Guillaume and his team is exemplary and made us book "Somewhere only we know". See you next time. Thank you very much for the happy time. Isabelle & Brigitte

We were simply overwhelmed by the unique architecture and the inspiring landscape. The whole place is a work of art. The views are spectacular. The beach is one of the most beautiful ones we have ever seen. The private natural pool was a dream. On every turn you see something new that amazes you. The staff is very helpful and attentive. Breakfast was made specially for us. You will have the vacation of your dreams.
The long way up to the road in the heat may be a problem for some people. But the staff is very kind to carry your luggage on checkin and checkout!

A very beautiful place and different from other hotels, right from the moment you make the reservation, you will notice that it is different here, everyone will do their best to make you have a good time, it will be just like your home and the staff Like your family, I loved this place very much, the owner of the accommodation tried to help us from the days before the stay until after, I am very grateful.

Thisi is fantastic place, you live here inside real jungle in beautiful, big and unique villas with nice nature design. You just have to little hike from the road to the villa, around 5 minutes, it’s easy and beautiful way through the jungle, and hotel stuff help helps to carry luggage. Territory is nice, with a beautiful view point, the restaurant is located near the beach with delicious food, and friendly stuff. Also hotel has a private beach, with beautiful big stones and nice view to the sunset. We love this place with my wife and will come back again.

This is the most sustainable, fair trade hotel I have ever seen.
They should talk more about it.
The resort and its owner invented their own eco-technologies such as a grey water system with which the water never infiltrates and pollutes the ground or natural air conditioning systems.
Nothing is bought from a big company (except the toilet paper they say) all is as local, as organic as it can be from the soaps, food or wines.
The staff is Burmese most them coming from the war times in Myanmar.
The hotels finances green projects for the local businesses and buys coffee from a school for disabled kids on the main land and yes it is exceptionally good.
These are only two examples but ask the staff about anything you see you will be shocked they will tell you all the reasoning behind each item of this amazing resort.
The hotel help people in Myanmar by sending 50USD for each booking and alternatively for 50USD booking several bnbs in Ukraine without any stay.
You will feel good to be there knowing you are not polluting anything and that your money will be used to finance green or social projects.
I mean just for that I love this place.
I had the best time with the entire team they are lovely, passionate and kind people with amazing personal history from the manager to the cleaning lady.

An extraordinary architecture
This resort is unique and extraordinary in many many ways. A must do for a trip in Thailand. What is outstanding here is the design.
The villas have been built and designed by its owner Guillaume Brachet. This designer now creates resorts and villas around the world using his signature organic architecture a new trend in the world of design.
Each villa has a unique design. All furniture and decoration are unique pieces designed by him and created by his team.
The mattress of the bed is handmade a dream to sleep in. Oh yes … and it’s round. Why ? because we are not square he says. :)
You will find an observation net above the nature of 16 meters long, a slide from the bedroom to the beach, secret passages in your villa … !
The attention to details is amazing and you will keep discovering new things as your stay goes.
Oh and one more thing. Guillaume Brachet invented eco technologies it own for the resort. Our villa was equipped with his system which does not release any dirty water into the ground. The staff and Saw the chief of his technical team will explain you all about it if you wish even tell you how to build it with the instructions.
It is truly a landmark in international hospitality design and architecture

From the access through a hike, it’s hidden door in the jungle, the design of its villas, it’s amazing human service and their excursions all is about the experience and the feelings and thoughts that it creates. All was organized and carefully designed for this. As they said they are reinventing hospitality and it is about time. I will come again
Not to have stay longer 10 days would have been ideal

Human, ecological, ground breaking, fair trade a version of the world of how it should be. The owner of this resort guillaume brachet invented its own eco technologies such as natural air conditioning or the only natural swimming pool in a tropical country in the world. All from the soap, drinks, equipment, staff, food and design is respectful of the planet and its people making a positive change. An advice: ask the staff members (any) and you will be surprised. This place is much more than it looks

You have this feeling to be on your own private island while being able to access within minutes the busiest part of the island. You can choose to enjoy the quietness of the 9 secluded beaches where the hotel is located during the day and party the night away on the best Phangan’s legendary music until dawn. It is perfect for the undecided people like me when we want it all at the same time for our vacation.

An access kept strictly secret, accessible by foot only through a short 5 minutes hike to protect the intimacy of its lucky 6 guests and the beauty of these beaches. Out of this world, it cannot be compared to any other resort: a must do

An incomparable place and resort. A category of its own. The location, the design and the human and caring service are unforgettable. A place made with heart and intelligence. Finally a resort that is not just another resort. It is somewhere only we know.

Very good food, very kind, friendly staff. The environment is really like the paradise in the jungle. On the other side you could feel yourself at home.

This is an eco-friendly hotel. It is not a "5-star" property but that was not what we were looking for. We wanted a quiet retreat away from the crowds and this was exactly what the resort provided with only 2 villas for guests. The staff were excellent and responsive. The property can be hard to access and require a certain level of fitness to get to and from the main road along a jungle trail.

The host, Guillaume, is very nice and detail-oriented. He made our stay so comfortable and made us felt very welcomed. Also, he was very resourceful so if you need anything in Phangun you can ask him.

As soon as we arrived at the pier we were greeted by the friendliest man on the island who was standing with a lovely welcome sign and had given us flowers on arrival (despite our delayed ferry). Straight after that we were taken to the resort where we had to walk down a path which feels like you are disconnecting from reality and entering your own private escape. Once we got to the villa got shown around and the attention to detail was mind blowing, it was a real life fantasy in the middle of a jungle. Shortly after, we were greeted by the resorts own chef, Sissi. We then went to the market where we picked the food we wanted to eat that night. By the end of the trip we started calling Sissi “mum” because she literally treated us like we were her own. She was genuinely the kindest, most helpful woman we had met in Thailand, we felt honoured we had the chance to meet her!! Once we got back from the market Sissi showed us how to cook certain Thai cuisine which we ate at sunset with views unlike any other. We then met the man behind ‘somewhere only we know’. To say he was amazing is an understatement, we could have spoken to him about his journey and his life for hours. From the way he envisioned his passion to how much he knew about the island regarding the culture and the people that lived on it was very cool. It’s difficult to truly explain just how unique and valuable the experience was, all we know is that we will definitely be returning.
There is literally nothing!
