Exceptional
The location of the object was perfect - Amalfi - a beautiful seaside city whose history dates back hundreds of years. On one side we have beautiful sea and on another high mountainous peaks, and everything is wrapped with history on top. The apartment owner was very helpful throughout the whole of our stay, going even as far as driving to the apartment at 10 pm when my kid closed the doors (which automatically lock upon being closed) to the apartment with both keys inside. This apartment also contains a terrace with a terrace awning that can shield you from the heat, just next to the kitchen. It was a very pleasant experience to sit there with a cold drink even in the middle of most sunny days, and you could just open it during the night to gaze at the starry sky.
It was very problematic to find the location of the object - the owner should probably tell people in advance to visit Hotel Amalfi (which most of the local folks know of) in case they cannot find the apartment or the street it is located on, in which one of the staff or the owner itself could point the people toward the apartment. Almost a complete lack of cellphone signal due to the layout of the city. This also obsoletes most things like navigation.

Perfect apartment for a family with older kids!
We loved staying in this town and these apartments. We rented both for our family of 5 with 3 mostly grown-up kids. The best parts: - Great location! Right in the middle of town and close to everything in Amalfi. Very short walk down to the beach, ferries, or buses so you can easily get to anything on the Coast. Grocery store right near the base of the building, tons of close restaurants, etc. - Ciro (the host) was super friendly and helpful. He was very accommodating to us when we got into town early and gave some great recommendations for restaurants - Awesome rooftop patio area and deck on one of the apartments with great views from both. Since we rented both apartments we had the whole upstairs to ourself. Great exposed area for sun and a nice, enclosed, shady area to eat and hang out.
This place is almost perfect, but if I had to complain about something it would be the stairs (~150 each time up from town). They were very clear about that and we knew exactly what we were getting into. It kinda goes with the territory around the whole Amalfi Coast, but if you can't easily do this you will want to find a different property (or even go on vacation somewhere else!). The only other thing would be to ask for 2 sets of keys to your apartment. We only got one and you need them to turn on electricity, A/C, etc. in the apartment when you are there, so if only part of your group leaves they can't take them with them. When they return you have to run down 3 floors to let them in the main building door as there's no way to "buzz" them in. We were also a little paranoid about locking ourselves out as all the doors lock automatically when the door closes.

Good location, good host, comfortable apartment!
The apartment has two outside areas - one smaller area with a breathtaking view of the town and water. The other is a comfortable seating area with a retractable roof. The host was a great communicator and let us store our luggage at a hotel close by which was very helpful. The bathrooms were very nice, well equipped little kitchen.
They warn you about the steps for good reason, not a big deal when you're prepared. A little tough with luggage going up, not a big deal coming down. If you have mobility issues, this is not the apartment for you.

Exceptional
The apartment is located near the center and is really convenient and close to everything. Clean, well equipped and the most important part, big terrace with magnificent view. The host was extremely helpful, answered all our questions and gave great recommendations for places to visit, restaurants and transport.
The only thing which we found a bit hard after a whole day of long walks, were the stairs. But if somebody expects a flat place with no stairs, then the whole Amalfi coast is not for him.

pleasant and enjoyable
the location is convenient, the room is well equipped with everything basic you need, the bed is comfortable. my favourite part is having a balcony at the terrace which I can have my breakfast there. the owner is responsive , friendly and helpful especially I needed an early check in. overall, I enjoyed my stay.
the most challenging part it’s almost 140steps of stairs from the Main Street, takes around 2 mins of climbing. it’s okay if you are young and light luggage travel. we travel with two super heavy luggage’s , glad that the owner help us out and make it easy when we check out.

Great place to stay in Amalfi for a family
Excellent location, very confortable and perfect for a family of 4. Ciro was very helpful through the entire time. we were very well looked after!
The stairs were hard for me and my parents (68 and 73) but we knew about them… if you are healthy and young you won’t have any issues

The apartment is super equipped, in the center of Amalfi, but in a quiet place, the service is very nice and helpful, I recommend it 😀

I did not stay.
Did not like anything.
The property was not as advertised. There are 150 steps to climb over several zig zag flights to reach the apartment. When you reach the apartment, there is no lounge as advertised on the Booking.com website. It is merely an outdoor patio area covered with a tent. I gave the keys back to the host and had to find a hotel. I have messaged Booking.com Customer Services several times about my disappointment and getting a refund but had no reply. Looks like the only way to progress my complaint is with the Advertising Standards Authority. and get this apartment removed from the website.
