Exceptional

We really liked the house, especially the sauna of course...a small, lovely beach, the local brewery and plenty Jogging trails were close by, however the surrounding is quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed nice talks and a beer with the owners! 😀

Wonderful short escape

Location is very good if you like relaxing walking in old forest.

Great starting point for exploring Öland.

Friendly, helpful and uncomplicated hosts. Sauna in the house. Many things in the house made by hand with care. Size of house just perfect - still small enough to be cozy but not too small 2 adults with three small kids. You can see sunset as it is on west coast.

Some very minor issues: There was no toilet paper. Host gave us a roll with no problem but said consumables should be brought by guests. In the other house we were all was there. I think for the price it should be included also considering that in the supermarket you probably do not get 1-2 rolls you need for your holiday but a whole package. Also you do not want to bother for such a 1 Euro issue. We brought our own bed stuff and towels. Did not expect that there were also not towels in the kitchen (and can not remember that it said you have to bring but could be wrong). Host gave us a long printed list what all has to be cleaned. For me that was not very inviting. To be fair for sure you will make also bad experiences when you rent out. Some of the furniture does not match the great built of the cabin. Some Ikeas stuff. Again totally understandable but somehow also a pity as it slightly spoils the great built of the cabin . Just to be sure - very minor issues, Finn is a great host and the place is great. However, when making a review you are asked what could be improved and these would be my few issues.

fine i guess

nice quiet location

there is a cleaning fee if you do not clear the place, but this is separate from the online payment. I would prefer to not have to worry about cleaning for a rented space prior to leaving.
