La Rosace befindet sich sehr nahe am Stadtzentrum und ist trotzdem ruhig gelegen.
Es gibt ein umfangreiches Frühstück in einem richtigen Wohnzimmer.

Our room was clean comfortable and spacious, conveniently located near (but not in) the city centre of Chartres. It is also fairly easy to reach on foot from the train station. The welcome is friendly and helpful, with some sound advice on the neighbourhood. The breakfast, served in the tenant's beautiful living room, is fresh and abundant.

It was spacious & the breakfast good, & the owner kindly filled up my thermos with coffee for the road when asked...
It was difficult to find & there was no answer on the bell & another couple also trying to come in were experiencing the same problem. It would also be good to be informed in advance that the owner only accepted cash

A handy place to stop in Chartres good for driving south. Nice breakfast and a pleasant clean room.
4.7
The secure parking and the space of the room. It was very comfortable.
The room smelt of stale smoke when we first entered. We had breakfast in the main house and the smell of stale smoke there was even more noticeable!

A lovely room with secure parking a real bonus. A short walk to the town centre and the beautiful cathedral. Breakfast was wonderful and in a very nice room, part of a very well appointed period house. The hostess was great, no fuss just good professional approach. Would return without doubt.

Ideal for a one-night stay in Chartres. Apartment was well-equipped & the bed was very comfortable. Evelyne was very welcoming.
The only (very minor) issue was that it was a little difficult to find the entrance, which was not very well signed. However, this only delayed us for a short period.

Excellent location within easy walking distance of the town centre. Lovely breakfast!
Little could have been better - we like a bath available as well as a shower.

Everything was very comfortable and breakfast was very French, in lovely surroundings
Make sure you have cash to pay as credit card not accepted. Also no English spoken, but then my French is not much better!

The bedroom was lovely and a really good shower. Eveline was a great host and made us a really nice breakfast. Parking was ideal, just outside the accomodation.

Such a lovely spot, hidden from the street, 5 mins walk to a good selection of restaurants and 10 mins to the iconic cathedral in the centre of town. The apartment is simply and stylishly appointed, a perfect bolt hole for us on our way back to UK. We were warmly and informatively received and breakfast was excellent and lovingly presented.
We highly recommend it.

This place is just perfect. We had stayed in Chartres once before on the drive back up France and loved it so much we vowed to do it again (great restaurants, lovely churches, the son et lumiere festival every evening - it's amazing!). The hotel we stayed in that time wasn't available so we booked this one which is next door and just as lovely. It's brilliant, with properly off-street parking, through a closed gate, so feels really safe and relaxed and away from it all but it's a short walk into the town centre where everything is. Breakfast is absolutely delicious - lovely fresh orange juice, coffee, baked goods, jam, yoghurt and honey. The bed was really comfy - quite firm which I love, with two big pillows each. The owner was absolutely delightful and really kind about my patchy French. There's a divine peaceful garden area outside: a mini oasis which smells of honeysuckle. If you're driving to Calais it's about 3hr45, but for 45 mins longer you can take the beautiful back roads via Dreux, Anet (great coffee stop), Les Andalys/Chateau Gaillard (great lunch and castle stop), Lyons La Foret (one of the Most Beautiful Villages of France) and join the Péage at Neufchatel on Bray. Chartres is such a great place for a few days - a really really lovely stop. We'll be back!
Literally nothing, the place is a delight.
