Breakfast was great - delicious sour dough toast with a cup of tea on the verandah.
Having the historic gold mine behind was very handy for a walk . Very quiet location. Would definitely stay there again .

Wonderful stay at the Albion. The room was very clean and well equipped, with basic toiletries provided, toaster, kettle, microwave and bar fridge. The room included basic breakfast and farm fresh eggs to take home. Great communication with staff and easy self check in.
Nothing! It was all great!

Great motel, everything we needed

Clean and very comfortable. Extremely thoughtful owner/manager. Great advice, contact and good old fashioned service. Would love to stay here again.

It was very clean with a non fussy decor. The continental breakfast was a pleasant surprise.
it was fine. I guess the boutique description referred to the size - only six rooms.

Lovely little quiet motel tucked away off the road managed by a friendly lady (Jane) who genuinely cares about your stay. It’s clean, fresh and airy, cosy accommodation with everything you need. The yummy sourdough and condiments were great and the tea, coffee etc the good stuff. As was all the quality hand soap, lotion, shampoo and conditioner.
Our carpark was a little tight but not a huge issue. That would be the only thing really. We were really happy with our stay overall.

Facade of motel not good, but rooms were great, really clean ad bed was very comfortable. Extra touches like sourdough and condiments for breakfast a nice touch.

The facility was excellent. So comfortable and clean.
Loved that there was sour dough for breakfast in the morning. Just the little touches fabulous!😊
The nade us feel at home.
If there was 1 thing. It would be when we went to watch a movie on Netflix it kept buffering.

Everything was perfect and we cannot wait to return. It’s the small personal gestures that really made our stay special. Friendly, clear communication, lovely teas and sourdough and considered, stylish interiors. The Saturday morning market across the road was an added bonus serving great coffee, second hand wares and fresh produce. Thank you for a lovely stay

This is a recently renovated motel like accommodation which is clean, plain but stylish and really friendly. We were really surprised and loved it and am waiting for the rest of the renno!!!
Jane our host was so helpful and the whole vibe of the place was super super friendly. it was small but really nice.

closest to our family event in Elphinstone. Nicely updated room. Owners go above by providing sour dough bread and condiments for breaky. accommodated us to get in earlier as it was such a hot day.
I thought it was a tiny bit pricey this time.

We loved how close to everything we were. Just loved the whole motel itself - extremely well presented. Sooo clean & well appointed. Just loved The Albion!!
Nothing we didn’t like except that we couldn’t stay longer & explore the area. We could not find anything we didn’t like.

Nice clean room - liked all the available facilities. Appreciated the bread that was left more me to make toast for breakfast.
I wondered why I was booked into a family room which I assume was more expensive when there were clearly vacancies in the smaller rooms.

Friendly lady doing phone check-in. Nice no frills decor. Excellent lighting and effective ceiling fan. Proper coat hangers, not the "can't take me home" type. USB charging point built into power point most convenient. Bread slices from local baker a nice touch. Quiet location.
Frig had no freezer compartment for Esky freezer blocks. Shower cubicle too small. Ceiling fan made a "tick, tick" noise. Overpriced in our opinion.

Great communication, super clean and comfortable. Complimentary sourdough bread & spreads was a lovely touch. All of the bathroom products are top of the line, and the rear patio is just gorgeous. There is a market on across the road on Saturday mornings, which is great for coffee, knick knacks and vegan pies!
