Location and layout was excellent as we were in Cardigan for an event at the castle which was only a few metres away. Our host was very friendly and helpful and was very keen to be sure we had everything we needed.

It was immaculate, the cleanest place I have ever stayed in. Very modern apartment with new kitchen appliances and bathroom. It felt as if we were the first customers to stay it is so new and clean. A large room with an en suite and separate galley kitchen. The shower enclosure had a choice or large or medium sized shower heads which was very easy to use. Toiletries were very nice smelling and plentiful. Very peaceful and quiet room at the back of the building with a lovely garden where there are plenty of seating areas to relax in. The host provided cushions to sit on a bench just outside the back door. We appreciated the dimmer switches - rare to find, the usb socket, dedicated dressing table with mirror and socket- easy use of hairdryer. We had to ask our host for instructions how to use the coffee machine, which she immediately texted back. Plenty of coffee pods and coffee for cafetiere. Ample tea bags and sugar bags provided. Bed was exceptionally comfortable and the bedding kept you at the optimal temperature throughout the night. The TV swivels at various angles for viewing practically anywhere in the room. Excellent recycling facilities with instructions.
No DVD player so no DVDs either. No alarm clock. Only about 8 books.

When I first stumbled upon this studio apartment , it seemed almost too good to be true. There must be a catch! But everything was as perfect as it seemed online. Penny Thomas, is the most thoughtful, gracious host.
She provided me with all the information I needed and showed me around. The flat is just perfect! Kitchen is compact and contains everything one needs. There is plenty of lighting, a table to eat and work from overlooking a lovely window down into the garden. This flat had its own little garden which was lovely.
Penny has put in a lot of hard work to make the accommodation clean, comfortable and environmentally friendly.

The property came with a parking space and the location was easy to find and well situated for the town itself, the castle and for walking in the surrounding areas. Penny was really friendly and there was plenty of local information available on the notice board to help with ideas for dining etc. We were lucky to be staying on the 'comedy evening' which we were invited to attend and a great evening was had by all. The garden was lovely and secluded, a real little sun spot.

The location in Quay Street was very convenient and the outside space was lovely. The studio was well equipped and very clean. The owner answered my queries promptly and was super helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it's a great destination to explore the coast in both directions. We opted for the private parking which was very close and a reasonable price - much easier than using the public car park.
A bit tricky unloading as need to park on the kerb to unload into the property hallway and then to the 'Garden Room' studio which is upstairs. Much easier leaving as we walked most of it to the car.

The apartment was wonderful, very thoughtful in decoration and design. Spacious, clean, comfortable. The separate kitchen was great with everything you need to cook.

What can we say! Although we live within an hour of Cardigan we visit regularly and see it as an āescapeā. This is the first time we have stayed here, and everything was above our expectations. An apartment that we could spend as much or as little time in it as we liked. Location is amazing and we visited the cafe on the corner each day for breakfast - yummy. The Grosvenor Pub is just around the corner too. We have already booked to visit The Art Room, within the same property for our trip in April. A bonus too is off road allocated parking. This is certainly is a brilliant find. Thankyou Penny.
There is nothing we didnāt like - apart from the weekend went too quickly!

What a fantastic stay! This was a last minute booking for work but i genuinely felt that I was on holiday! The Garden Room is a few houses away from the Quays in the centre of Cardigan, you wouldn't know it however as its very quiet. The Garden Room is on the first floor of a beautiful house which is converted into apartments. Everything from the front door in is spotless and beautifully decorated, the photos don't actually do it justice!
It has been fantastically converted, all too many holiday lets are converted with a budget in mind but Penny has so thoughtfully designed The Garden Room it really has a luxurious high end feel. The toiletries, multiple mirrors, huge shower and white fluffy towels in the bathroom were so welcome! and my mornings were made with the fresh coffee thoughtfully provided and sitting in the very private terrace the room leads out onto.
Importantly the house is designed with the environment in mind - Penny has provided eco cleaning products and easy recycling facilities.
I am already looking at dates to come back with my husband, sadly it is very booked so if you see a free date make sure you do book, its a real find!

We liked everything!

This is an individual style of property, literally a stone's throw away from the town centre and with easy access to public parking nearby (also limited property owned parking). It has a great historical feel whilst being equipped to a very high standard. The owner is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the garden area and our own boutique style private seating area.
Everything was above expectations.

Location was great, very clean and tidy. plenty of covid safe procedures in place. Very comfy bed. Penny was very pleasant and an effective host throughout the stay. Would highly recommend and definitely happy to use again in the future. Lots of places to eat and drink locally, bit of a gastro destination. plenty of great walks to be had in the area. Information boards and maps available in property were very helpful.
Maybe a white stripe on the edge of the stairs on the turn, to make them a bit more visible when going down in dim light.

Lovely studio apartment with outdoor garden in a prime position for exploring the area around Cardigan and also central to town centre. Poppit Sands close by along with other lovely beaches like Aberporth. Owner of apartment very friendly and welcoming.
Traffic outside apartment was dangerous. The traffic had been rerouted this year as problem had not arose on our last visit. It was especially dangerous when trying to cross at the bottom of the road to the carpark and plus the street only had pavement to two thirds of the road on one side only.
