Great value especially with ocean view. Staff were lovely

Lovely room, with ocean view. Not modern but cleverly designed for privacy and everything else. Quiet part of town. Staff were so welcoming and flexible to our wishes.definitely recommend.

An excellent family friendly stay in a fabulous location. We are repeat guests for a reason!

Location was exceptional. Lovely and clean with great amenities.

We hope that air con may be installed in the future but appreciated the fans provided.

A beautiful place...a great retreat but close to all you need.

The location and outlook is superb. Quiet and close to the village and beautiful beach. Staff were very helpful and professional.

The space around the bed was a little tight....

In a lovely part of Nelson Bay.

the property is a stones throw to the beach. the view from the top floor. units 1 and 2 have a great view to the water. 600 metre walk into Nelson Bay waterfront. well stocked Kitchenette.

As an older block a part wall blocks the view within the unit. Furniture was not comfortable.

No air con. Very small. Injured on premises. Was told management informed. Not approached at all. Hardest bed I've slept on.

A grerat location and a large well equipped room. Spoilt only by lack of airconditioning.

Great location. There was a top view across Port Stephens from the balcony outside the room. The facilities were relatively basic but good. It was a one minute walk to the pure white sands and crystal clear waters of Dutchmans Beach. Superb water in which to cool down.

It had been pointed out that the room was not air conditioned but did have fans which did work reasonably enough. Unfortunately our stay coincided with very warm humid nights for which air conditioning would have provided us with a far more comfortable sleep. Be aware of this if you intend to stay during the hot humid months of the year.

Fantastic location and good value

Awesome location with a nice view of the bay. It’s a stone’s throw to the beautiful Dutchies beach and an easy 15 min stroll into Nelson Bay along a lovely shady path

The fans were good but A/C would have been better. Note the only cooking facility is a microwave

It was the perfect location, literally on the beach. The staff were lovely.

It needs air conditioning. We stayed the second week of February so it was still really warm and the fans didn’t help because they only circulated hot air. There are no locks on the flyscreen doors so you have to lock the main sliding door which doesn’t allow any airflow.

Great check in. Staff communication excellent via text and email. Easy to locate motel. Views of beach from our verandah Room 1 where breathtaking.

Bathroom could do with an update. Though it was spacious and water pressure in shower was great.

Thé view from the room and few steps to the beach. Position is perfect and has easy parking. very clean.

Old door and old lock and old bathroom. Also no air con.

great location for views of beach./ parking on property excellent./ accomodation very reasonable cost.

no air conditioning./ no hair dryer./ insufficient cutlery/. chairs with metal legs were a poor choice, trip or injury hazard./ screen door lock broken therefore unable to leave open during night .

Excellent location - quiet beach, lovely walks but accommodation a little tired looking.

The location was excellent and there were very accessible places to walk which we enjoyed immensely. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

There wasn't anything we didn't like. The property was a bit tired looking, especially being located next to the Amara and there was very little room either side of the bed which was a bit difficult for me as I have mobility issues.

we loved the view and where it was located. it was hidden away but still close to everything
