Beautiful grounds and gardens. The entrance to the room is special, with an outdoor seating area where we ate a delicious breakfast. The bedroom is simple but has everything you need - air conditioning and a good big bed. I liked that the room was dark so I could sleep in the morning. It was quiet. The family were very friendly and helpful. Walking distance to Samuan Tiga and Goa Gadjah temples. Thanks for a lovely stay.

We were welcomed and treated like family during our stay. There was no "reception" as such. No papers to sign, no keys to hand out. Only smiles, warmth and trust...just like family.
Guests were accommodated in a series of individual buildings which were like little temples with gorgeous elaborate intricate designs.
Breakfast was cooked in the family kitchen and served at a table outside one's room. It was simple but delicious.
Nothing.

The host and his family were very friendly, attentive and super helpful. We love the breakfast they made freah for us every morning. Each morning is a different traditional Balinese dish brought to our front porch. Eating breakfast on your own private covered porch facing the zen garden, listening to the morning birds singing is just one of the many perks of staying here. We love the classic architecture and design of the buildings. The handcrafted arts on every walls is something to be admired. The zen garden is gorgeous. We feel like kings staying here for a week. We highly recommend everyone to stay here to get a true feel of the Balinese culture and traditions.

The hosts are incredible, very nice, very welcoming. Just very good vibes. The table outside was very big and good to work on too. It has a huge garden and feels a lot like a temple complex. Great breakfast
The rooms got stuffy at night and it was hard to sleep (with the AC turned off), the streets were also a bit noisy

This is a really nice place, but we booked a family room and they give us two separate rooms so we had to switch hotel. However, they were very nice and reimburse us for the room since they were not able to accommodate us.

The hosts are incredibly kind and we felt like home. I was there with my parents and we felt really good during the stay. They helped us with everything we needed. I also loved that we arranged Airport pick up and while we were in the car we were contacted by the homestay to ask if we wanted to stop somewhere to eat! That was more than expected.
The place is so beautiful and traditional Balinese, is very quiet and surrounded by nature. The breakfast everyday was amazing. Overall it was a really good value and great for my parents as well.
All good!

Wayan and his family are excellent hosts. We had the most memorable stay in their guest house. My parents (75+ years old) felt at home, at all times. They allowed us to use the kitchen facilities liberally. Wayan also kept an English guide on places to visit and things to do in Bali and advised us on daily basis, on things to do and places to see in a specific route, that aligned with my parents' interest and health. We already had a driver booked for our entire stay, hence did not take Wayan's help for the transport. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended to whoever wishes to experience Balinese culture at close quarters!

Wow where can we start...from the minute we arrived we were treated like family...smiles everywhere...the breakfast was amazing and hand delivered by the family. Very quiet accommodation and the facilities were fantastic...pool, fresh water, a hot water machine, fridge/freezer and so much space...WiFi was fab and cooking facilities were spot on. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Nuaja Guest House is an excellent family run business. You will be greeted with friendliness, kindness and generosity. Nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are clean, have air conditioning and are cleaned during your stay. Members of the family will also drive you to and from places for a very reasonable price. The gardens are beautiful and you are invited to sit in the grounds or walk about them at any time during your stay. We asked for a daily flask of hot water so we could have tea etc and this request was met with a lovely smile and was granted. The accommodation for a family is outstanding - it has its own small garden and a small pool and a kitchen. The guest house is well located for buying food etc. More or less directly opposite is a lovely eating place and further up the road on the left are a lot of eating places that are open only in the evening. In the evening, we ate at the one directly on the corner - same side as Nuaja - at one directly opposite the supermarket that is just round the corner from Nuaja and at the one that is at the very end of the strip of eating house buildings. It serves beautiful freshly cooked vegetables. There is an ATM close by and next to the ATM is a wonderful laundry that will wash and iron your clothes and have them back to you within 24 hours and it is very reasonably priced! It is easy to get to UBUD by taxi. It takes about 20 minutes, longer if the traffic is heavy. UBUD is full of tourists so if you want to live amongst the local people who are soooo friendly then I'd stay in Bedulu at Nuaja.
Everything to my liking!

I loved every second of my time at Nuaja Guest House. Not only were my room and terrace fabulous, but I got to spend time with a truly kind and welcoming local family and experience a traditional way of Bali living.
The highlight is one that simply cannot be planned and that you could only experience in a place like Nuaja – right beside my terrace, I got to enjoy a flower that only blooms once a year and share that with people who really appreciate it.
The fresh and delicious breakfasts every morning were also very appreciated.
I want to thank everyone who made my stay so lovely – and Simone for being a such a good guard dog for my terrace.
I have nothing negative to say.
