Location in Tejeda along the main pedestrian street was great and the view was beautiful. Andrea and Antonio are excellent hosts.
The bathroom was cramped especially the shower. The beds were a little hard to use.

Friendly hosts (they cared), comfortable beds, everything seemed brand new, well stocked - even two types of coffee makers available, balcony with scenic view, location right above the promenade, apartment is 1 minute walk to grocery store. Host also provided a bottle of wine that is best we tasted during our three weeks traveling the Canary Island. Apartment is much nicer and newer than listing photos.

Andrea and Antonio were wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome. The apartment was modern and comfortable, with effective heating. The balcony was big enough for 4, got full sun and had a spectacular view. It was very peaceful, with little noise either from the road behind or the pedestrian street in front. There is a small Spar next door and on street parking nearby.

Andrea and Antonio are delightful people and it was clear they wanted to do everything they could to make our stay successful. We stayed for 3 nights and had 2 great walks from the door and 1 using the bus to get to Barranco de Mina. There is absolutely everything you could need provided and the apartment is exceptionally clean and cosy. It overlooks the main street and the caldera but is very quiet. The Spar shop is next door and there are numerous restaurants nearby. It was a lovely stay and I wouldn't hesitate to return. Thank you Andrea and Antonio.

This apartment is one of the best we've ever stayed in. We loved the view of Roque Bentayga from the balcony, the location in the centre of the quiet town of Tajeda, next to a supermarket and less than a minute's walk from the restaurants and bakeries. Antonio and Andrea were wonderful hosts, giving great tips about places to see and places to eat. The apartment was spotlessly clean, the beds we're comfy and the shower is a good one. We highly recommend Apartamentos el Motor.

The apartments (I was lucky to stay in both!) will not have you miss a single thing. The hosts are have equipped them with everything you need. Even the things you forgot to bring from home! And again - the view!
In Tejeda you have access to good restaurants, a grocery store, great 'Dulcerias' and a Pharmacy. In hotels in the area you will be very locked down in the evenings - in Tejeda you can get out and enjoy!
I had a day with clouds and wind in Tejeda. Then I just needed to take the car approx. 30 minutes south and experience 25 degrees and sun again. The hikes around Tejeda are beautiful and well maintained.
I will absolutely be back to visit Antonio's and Andrea's apartments - and I will recommend Apartementos el Motor to all my friends!

The apartment is very lovely and cosy! It’s also very clean, and has a balcony with an amazing view. It is equipped with everything you need, with lots of unexpected lovely and useful extras (2 bottles of water and a delicious red wine, hiking poles, lots of information on hiking routes …).
Andrea and Antonio are the loveliest hosts you can imagine and put every effort into making my stay a great one. Muchas gracias!

The location was perfect. We had planned to do lots of walking in the mountains and there were plenty of good walks only a short drive away or even within walking distance.
Our hosts Antonio and Andrea couldn't have been more friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for us.

Wonderful apartment and hosts. The view from the private balcony is just as you see in the photos. A very well equipped apartment with everything you need for a 3 day stay. Close to bus stop, restaurants and supermarkets in the main square, below the apartment and fabulous walks from the door. The apartment really lived up to our expectations, really well equipped kitchen for self caterers - would definitely recommend this lovely place and exceptional hosts.

The apartment was perfect. Spacious, bright and very clean, had everything provided including extra towels and bed linen. The view from the sunny balcony was breathtaking. Location of the apartment is perfect for hiking, biking and trail running. There are many routes of varying difficulty nearby.
Antonio and Andrea are wonderful hosts, exceptionally friendly, helpful and cheerful.

Antonio and Andrea were exceptional hosts. Their beautiful, centrally located apartment had everything you could wish for and more. I was particularly pleased that they had walking poles available to borrow and umbrellas should they be required. The apartment was spotlessly clean and the beds extremely comfortable. There was a lovely terrace looking out over the valley dominated by Roque Bentayga where you can watch the sun go down of an evening.
Nothing to dislike it was one of the best places we have stayed on the island.

The owners are very kind, they make you feel like family. The place is beautiful and super clean (I probably never stayed in cleaner place). The view from the balcony is exceptional. The beds were really comfy, there was even the ergonomic pillow, sheets smelled like home. There is a small first aid kit in the bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped and we had everything we needed. We would stay even longer or definitely come back when in GC/Tejeda. The photos don't really do the justice to this place, it was so much nicer.

A comfortable little apartment in a good location with an exceptional view. Hosts are very friendly and do their best to make you feel at home - even though they only spoke Spanish, we managed to muddle through.
It was quite cold, so we needed to turn on the heater at night, which was loud when it started up every 30mins or so.

The best place to stay in the entire island! The view is breathtaking and the apartment is the cleanest accommodation I have ever stayed. The hosts are extremely nice and take the safety during pandemic very seriously. The kitchen is well equipped, as well as the rest of the apartment. There is free parking 100m from the apartment, grocery store next door and the most delicious Dulcerias also next door. Many different gorgeous hikes directly from the town, and more close by (10mjn drive). We highly recommend this place!

The hosts are extremely gracious and the apartment was spotless. We had to find a health centre on arrival and the hosts gave us clear directions on where to go and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. They were really welcoming and friendly.
This is a very minor thing and very subjective, but the lightbulbs in the lamps in the living room give off quite cold blue light - yellow light would be cosier.
