Good sized room and bathroom.

Beautifully furnished, and a very comfortable stay. Would come back to stay here again when visiting Birmingham

Large good quality ropm & reasonably comfortable. Staff were very helpful in the neighbouring restaurant.
Complicated entry system especially if your mobile phone battery has given out. Was bombarded with numerous lengthy emails so was quite difficult to work out what to do as booked at short notice. Whilst it was quiet, which is appreciated, it was a bit too quiet & soleless with no staff whatsoever in the accommodation area.
Beware, there is another 23 High Field Road in Birmingham, nowhere near this one!

Absolutely loved our stay. We only booked a one night stay for an event at the Utilita stadium.
Booking and check in super easy, excellent communication throughout.
Easy to find, parking available at the hotel.
The Town house and the room we stayed in is beautiful. Smells divine, everything is immaculately clean, decor is classy and the bedding, toiletries etc all very luxurious. Bed was so comfy we slept like a dream.
The pub is fabulous. Went for a few drinks in the evening and breakfast the next morning. The pub is also beautiful, clean and decorated so tastefully. The staff are ALL incredible. Friendly, happy, warm and welcoming.
We walked to the stadium which took about 15/20 minutes so went to a few pubs on the waterfront, really nice area.
Can’t recommend The High Fields highly enough.
We’ve come away feeling rested well looked after a like we’ve been treated to a luxury night away.
I honestly have nothing remotely negative about our stay. I’m not easily bowled over but I loved everything about High Fields.

Very well appointed and spacious rooms. Really comfortable beds. High quality linen and towels. On-site parking and code access add additional convenience to stay. Well located for quick access by taxi to anywhere you would want to visit or more sedate walk along canal to centre.
We stayed in Room 11 which would benefit from addition of some drawer/shelving for clothes.

Breakfast was absolutely amazing. The rooms were quirky and well equipped. Comfy bed and nicely decorated
Can hear noise from others rooms but it didn’t put us off using you again

The property and its location with the pub/restaurant next door was great. Lots of free parking.
The bedroom (room 10) although a king room was probably the worst room in the property. It was tucked in a corner with no view at all. Booking.com should advertise this room accordingly. The manager did his best to move us to a better room but the hotel was fully booked. He gave us our evening meal for free by way of compensation.

Check in was really easy, the room and facilities were amazing, so luxurious. And really easy to get from the city centre on foot
Nothing- it was all wonderful, wish I could've stayed longer

Staff , fantastic location and room was of a high quality finish

As the booking confirmation advised, no one on the reception desk on arrival - well at any point I was passing by the desk in fact. Room okay, tea and kettle provided with biscuits. Toilet in separate room to shower.
Bed was a bit soft for my liking but room was quiet.
I was up and about early, shower was freezing. Toilet needed repeated flushing.
I was so fed up at 6.30am I left before the included breakfast, so cant comment on that.
I travel to this area regularly on business but I shall be staying at B & B opposite next time, worth the extra £10 for better parking & room.

The iron was very small and ineffective - and eventually it blew and tripped the whole room, which left us with no power at all. There wasn't any staff to speak to, so not pleased!

It was all great!

In Birmingham for the tennis nearby. Room was bright and very spacious. Bed was extremely comfortable. Staff in pub next door friendly and helpful. Had breakfast twice - excellent on both occasions. Would absolutely stay again if in the area.

The location, everything we needed was within walking distance. The breakfast was delicious. The key code system worked well and was much easier than the conventional method. A clean and comfortable apartment with parking, highly recommended we would stay again.

It was the comfiest bed that I've ever slept in. In was clean and the decor was nice. It was close to the Botanical Gardens, which we visited on two of the days that we stayed. And close to Edgbaston Village and some nice places to eat and drink plus a Morrisons for supplies. The breakfast next door was really lovely. The double shower head was a nice touch, as I often can't reach to rinse my hair properly.
The telly was a bit broken. It kept going dark, which scuppered some of our plans, because we'd brought the Switch with us and had planned on playing using the screen, plus watching some TV. The mute button didn't work and it was in an awkward position to the bed, which couldn't really be helped because of the beautiful big windows.

Having classical music playing in my room on arrival was a nice touch. i actually left it play most of my stay. The food was all fantastic and I loved the use of the lounge for chilling and coffee drinking. :)
I need to know how things work in order to be able to relax and I'm not very good at asking people for help. So the only issue I had really was not knowing how the included breakfast was supposed to work and what was included.
I know in theory, most people would just ask on the morning while going to breakfast. So I know this isn't a big deal in most cases. but in my case, it would have been helpful just to have a note with the welcome message that explained that the breakfast menu, even though it has prices next to the options was actually included with my room booking. Which it was and everything I ate was fantastic.

It was beautifully clean, with lovely facilities in the room. The staff in the pub/restaurant ‘attached’ to the property (next door) were an enormous credit to the company. Each one of them was friendly, helpful and professional.
Only a couple of little niggles. The pop up plug in the sink in our room didn’t hold the water in the sink and the milk in the lounge fridge was off (although in date, had probably been left out by another guest).

Room was immaculate and spacious, comfy beds & tasteful decor
It was all amazing

Easy access to small but nicely arranged/designed room, with comfy bed and great shower. Loved being able to get fresh milk for tea, and so many teabags! Excellent breakfast next door.
Quite a small room, given the price

Amazing hotel and pub, staff were amazing will definately be back

Staff on reception welcoming and friendly. Check in and access to property and rooms easy. Bed very comfortable, shower powerful, bathroom hand-soap smelt divine, everything very clean and stylish. And breakfast was fantastic - better than any hotel I have stayed in before.
Dog friendly, which is lovely. However there was a very yappy dog in one of the rooms during our stay - who barked morning and night. Didn't spoil our stay really, as sound-proofing is ok so it was muffled - but it was a little annoying.

spotless, lovely decor, nice bedding
