Fabulous Place to Stay in Varenna and Convenient to the Train Station

The apartment is spacous, modern (inside), and has all the amenities you could want. We had a large balcony patio that was very nice. It was one of the better apartments we have rented. We picked the location to be near the train station so we would not have to haul luggage through the town and it was perfect for that. It did mean a short hike into Varenna but we prefer the less touristy neighborhoods. The owners are responsive and helpful.

The only issue was that we didn't have hot water for 24 hours and it also went out one other time. However, the owner figured out how to tell me to reset it and that solved the problem. A plumber came out after the 2nd time and made sure everything was fixed. It was a new tankless water heater so that is an unusual problem. Everything in the apartment is newer and good quality.

Amazing, a perfect trip to Varenna in a great apartment.

The location of the property was great! It was really close to the centre of Varenna but also really close to the ferry station for when you wanted to visit other villages on Lake Como. The apartment itself was very clean and modern, with great facilities! Andrea (the host) was great and always available on the booking.com chat if we had any questions and made it very clear how to get into the apartment. It was a really great stay and would highly recommend.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about the property.

Perfect location to experience Lake Como!

The location for this property is unreal - only a short walk to the Varenna ferry wharf which has regular ferries that take you to Menaggio, Bellagio, Como and all the other key spots. Further, it is only a very short walk (3mins) from the Varenna train station. The size of the apartment was perfect for two travellers, and all the kitchen utilities proved incredibly handy when needed.

Very good stay

It was clean nice apartment. The bed was comfy. WiFi worked greate. Kitchen fully equipt.

The train station is very near, so a bit loud, becouse of trains and tourists.

Great apartment, great location and even better host!

Andrea is a FANTASTIC host. Her apartment is in a great location and has everything you need. She went out of her way to help us manage through one of the legendary Italian rail strikes too!

Nice apartment close to everything

Very comfortable bed and apartment close to train station and port. Sound proof so we slept very well and enjoy sitting outside on the balcony and enjoy a glass of wine.

Just missing a microwave.

We really enjoyed our time in this ideally located, beautiful, clean and well-appointed apartment.

The apartment was well located, just a short walk to the ferry in Varenna. The apartment was spacious, very clean and well appointed. The beds were very comfortable. The WiFi was fast. Having a full kitchen and washing machine was very convenient. The air conditioning worked extremely well on the hot days. Our host was helpful and responsive throughout the entire stay.

The appartment was very clean and we found everything that we needed. The location is perfect, very close to the town and port to take a boat trip for the day. Thank you for this very pleasant stay.

Enjoying Varenna

Great Value. Good location. Easy to find and come & go as we chose. Kitchen had all we needed. Facilities were well stocked.

Would prefer to have light blocking curtains.

Superb

Nice apartment, had everything you would need for a good stay. The location of the apartment was perfect for people who would like to rely on public transport. The train station very near by, ferry also just fee minutes away and even the summer bus to castle was also nearby. The checkin and checkout process was also very simple and effecient.

Apartment was occasionally a bit chilly (even after increasing the temperature) but not a big deal at all.

Pleasant stay near Varenna

Excellent location if you travel by train - 2 minutes walk from the station. Few minutes walk to the lake and the ferry port. Quite comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. Air conditioning in bedroom. A small balcony with a view of a beautiful railway bridge. Good contact with the host.

The windows barely protect from outside noise (traffic, trains). Not too much space for storing things inside...

Nice and comfy place. There were all needfull utils (although finding cutlery was a little challenge🤣🤣). Enough space for family.

Good place to stay in Varenna

The apartment is 2 minutes to train station, breakfast shop, bus station and 5 minutes to ferry and 7-10 to city center.

We would appreciated more if in the 3 nights stay someone would have cleaned the place at least once.

Amazing place

Very good apartment with everything what you need l. Well equipped, new, stylish, comfortable, quite big with beautiful terrace, friendly owner, perfect service. Few steps from train station and few steps to the center. Highly recommended

Excellent

The terrace was excellent, less than 5 minutes walk to the train station, 5 minutes walk to the ferry, air conditioning worked, keypad entry (no need to worry about keys) and finally modern and refreshing decor.
