La tranquilidad, el jardín con barbacoa, las mesas de la terraza para desayunar. Fue todo perfecto. El paseo hasta el río para bañarse. 💯 recomendable , sin duda volveremos.

It is a nice property in a nice town.
I was okay with the fact there was no hand soap in the bathroom. I was okay with the fact that breakfast was not in the Casa but in a bar up the road. But what really annoyed me was that, having paid for breakfast in my booking, I was asked to pay extra for a second cup of coffee at breakfast! And that was after leaving a 25% tip at dinner the previous night. I thought that was very mean.

Kamers

Bonitas vistas.
El trato fue bastante amable. Nos sentimos a gusto.

Not much: the room was ok, and so was the view.
Overprized breakfast served by a sulky owner, was the drop that made my cup run over. Arriving a bit early, the owner of the hostel made mit sit outside for an hour and a half, despite the fact that I explained to her that I had been walking the Camino all morning and would just like to be allowed to take a shower and clean myself a bit, now that the rooms had been cleaned and was clearly ready. But no: instead she took off in her car, left me waiting. When coming back, suddenly she claimed that the payment for the room was only for one person, even though I could provide documentation that I had paid for two (I had been joined by another peregrino (pilgrim-walker) and we agreed to split the bill). That only made her even more hostile and very little service-oriented. And finally, when the night came and we needed to sleep, two other families with very, very noisy children screaming and slamming doors till late in the evening, without being asked by the owner to be just a little more silent, completed the picture of a hostel not worth visiting, I am sorry to say.

Good, comfortable basic accommodation, lots of blankets, towels provided. Friendly host.
Few options for meals.

The location was stunning
Noise from other guests, walking about in heavy sounding boots on hard floors - no consideration for others.
Facilities stated soundproofing, we think they missed out a word NO
The noise from taps/running water was horrendous

Location was stunning
No effort to communicate in amy way other then spanish, printed messages were only in spanish, when we arrived no one was on site and all locked up, managed to determine by the spanish signs we needed to call a number but only spanish spoken when we called, the lady arrived but was not friendly and made no effort to communicate, I have some limited spanish and tried but to no avail, poor service. Breakfast, two pieces of toast a glass of orange juice and a hot drink, such a shame as location and potential was stunning.

looked like a nice building. nice patio.
floor and bathroom dirty. we felt like a huge inconvenience to the owner- when we called to say we arrived, she drove up, left her car running, checked us in to our room and drove off. We asked to use the microwave or borrow a kettle to make hot water for tea but abruptly told to use the bathroom tap. Not shown any place to do laundry, restaurant and bar not open. noises from other rooms carry. advertised as a good place for pilgrims, but disappointed.

the location with views. easy to find when walking in (camino De Santiago ) - it is one of the first places on the route.
the BEST thing was the shower. the hot water was perfect. hands free and hot ! no balancing act to shower.
my room was quite lovely.
the owner (gentleman) admitting me did not really tell me what was allowed - this information was later passed on by another person staying there. ie where one could put wet things if needed to dry. also that there was a drying area inside.
the place to eat dinner at 7.30pm Bar Javi is a good walk away and not easy to locate. Bar Javi is also the place for breakfast from 7am.

… excellent stay and great owners… lovely rooms with a great view…and the breakfast, a nominal €6, was delicious and abundant…

The hosts were very friendly, the place was really nice in a good location - beautiful stone village - so excellent place for a stopover
The hot water pressure wasn't very good, if you opened a bit more the cold water to get more pressure the water would get cold very fast

Everything
Took along time for the hot water to come through in the shower, a lot of water is wasted

We were pleasantly surprised by this tranquil retreat with gorgeous views and fantastic breakfast! Thought it would be just a convenient stopover, but it turned out to be a vacation in itself.
